Mensah's name comes from the Latin word for table. This refers to a round table at which everyone is equal. The creators chose it in order to designate: any very smart person can join the club.

Mensah CEO John Stevenage said that Oscar Wrigley was admitted to their club at the age of two years, five months and 11 days: “Oscar shows great potential. Experts at the British Center for Gifted Children in Sulliul believe that Oscar is one of the most unusual children they have ever encountered.
