But you may ask, what shouldn't you be afraid of? Let's devote this lesson to the issue of fear and what you shouldn't be afraid of.
Fear is an extremely negative phenomenon, a phenomenon that destroys our subtle organs of perception. It doesn't matter what we fear, any form of fear is harmful.
People, perhaps, are afraid that, having gone on an astral journey, they will not be able to return back to the body. You can always return to the body, until you actually die, until the term of your earthly life has passed, and this, as you understand, has nothing to do with astral travel.
You must admit that fear can paralyze a person to such an extent that he becomes unable to do anything. If a person seized with terror is in the astral body, then the astral body also loses its ability to act until the fear is gone. Fear passes, you know that emotions last only for a certain time. So, a person who is afraid has only to return to the physical body - and he will be safe.
We are not the only form of existence in the astral, just as man is not the only form of life on Earth. There are pleasant creatures in our world: cats, dogs, horses, birds - we have mentioned only a few, but there are also not very pleasant ones, such as spiders that bite and snakes that are poisonous.
If you see microbes under a microscope, you will see such fantastic creatures that it will seem as if you are living in the days of dragons from old tales. There are many creatures in the astral plane, much more terrible than anything you have ever seen on Earth. In the astral plane we will meet wonderful creatures, creatures or people. We will see the Spirits of Nature; by the way, they are almost incredibly kind and agreeable.
But there are also terrible creatures, which, probably, the authors of myths and scary tales have once seen, because they look like devils, satyrs and other characters in myths. Some of them are low elementals that can eventually transform into humans or follow the branches of animals. Whoever they become in the future, at this stage of development they are certainly unpleasant.
