Today I would like to tell you about the ancient model of the city, which was carved or smelted on a piece of granite in an unknown way.
The city of Cusco is home to one of the most unique and interesting archaeological sites in Peru - Sayvit. For several millennia, there has been an incredible granite stone. Its dimensions are approximately 4 × 4 meters in diameter. All the mystery of this stone lies in its upper part, on which the city of the ancient era is made in miniature.
It is incredibly difficult to create in such a miniature a tiny but full-fledged city with terraces, houses with towers, playgrounds, temples, as well as many other city buildings, even with the use of modern stone processing technologies. According to various estimates, 200-350 geometric figures are depicted on the stone.
Scientists cannot understand - how could the ancient Peruvians create this, many thousands of years ago? Moreover, the layout of the city was clearly made using topographic images, as if an ancient master could observe such a city from a bird's eye view. The researchers of this unique artifact did not even come to a consensus. Which civilization should this masterpiece be attributed to?
Officially, it is attributed to the Incas, but many scientists strongly disagree with this. There are also figurines of animals on the stone: pumas, condors, monkeys, reptiles, frogs and cats. Many scholars believe that the stone depicts some of the geographic regions of Peru. Archaeologists have not found other stone models of the cities of the ancient Incas. If the model was the prototype of the future real city, then its creator had to have tremendous topographic abilities in order to create such a cast without special measuring devices and tools.

Could the ancients, the illiterate, as official historians assure us, could have done something like that? Material for the layout is not suitable. Granite is not easy to process even today, but if the ancient builders had certain knowledge and were an order of magnitude higher in development than our civilization, then everything immediately falls into place, but what do you think? There is also a version that this city is a toy. However, this hypothesis is not so simple. Such a toy should have been too expensive, but perhaps the royal family could afford such a luxury. Some researchers believe that this granite stone played the role of a model and was a kind of visual aid for teaching students the irrigation system for supplying water to the city and its arrangement. But one thing is clear for sure - without special training, a simple bricklayer cannot cope with such engineering work.
The mystery of its origin and purpose still haunts scientists. Another, no less interesting object is a cracked stone.
It has a perfect finish, worthy of modern technology. Neat niches, grooves, grooves, and holes of ideal shapes are carved on all sides of the stone.
Looking at all these miracles of stone processing, one conclusion suggests itself: in the past there were stone processing technologies that were not inferior to modern ones, but where did they disappear? No one knows.
