A little patient came to the clinic with a seemingly banal problem - urinary incontinence. But, as it turned out, Dasha (name has been changed) suffered all her life. Moreover, it was not even incontinence, but constant leakage - she was urinating all the time, in fact, it did not accumulate in the bladder. Ever since the unfortunate woman went to school, she experienced constant stress, because wearing diapers is both embarrassing and uncomfortable. Her mother was especially worried about her daughter. It is noteworthy that doctors in the region (a schoolgirl originally from the Bryansk region) could not understand in any way what was the cause of her strange illness. Sergey Yatsyk. - In our practice, there were patients with three kidneys (which is also a rare anomaly), but I don't even remember with four. However, the reason for the patient's problem was not this, but the fact that the ureters did not go into the bladder, but into the vagina. By the way, this could at any time become the cause of infection of the genitourinary system.
The operation, which lasted several hours, was successful. The doctors managed to change the course of the ureters (so that they open into the bladder). In this case, all four kidneys were preserved. According to doctors, they all work fine and should not bring problems to their mistress. By the way, the cause of such an anomaly could be poor ecology, stress or the mother's taking antibiotics during pregnancy, which led to improper organ laying in the fetus.
Curiously, living with four kidneys provides no advantages or complications, provided that urine flow is not disturbed.
