Judith Nwokocha, 38, lives in Calgary, Canada and works as a photographer. For eight years, she and her husband tried to have children, but they never succeeded.

Judith became pregnant only after in vitro fertilization ("in vitro fertilization"). Her pregnancy was generally normal, but when the twins were born, Judith thought at first that she had been impregnated by someone else's child.

Judith gave birth to a black boy and a completely white girl. As it turned out, the girl turned out to be an albino. This is incredibly rare among twins.

It was in 2016 and now the unusual twins Kamsi and Kachi are almost three years old. When mom goes for a walk with them, many take the bright girl for someone else's child. “Where are her parents?” They ask about Kachi.

On the second scan, the doctors noticed that something was wrong with the twins, but could not understand what exactly, only suggested that they might have Down syndrome. And then it turned out that one twin (a girl) was far behind in growth from the other. And when the twins were born, the girl did not start crying for a long time. However, all the problems were soon over, except for Kacha's albinism.

However, Judith soon realized that apart from her skin color, her daughter was no different, and despite the problems with growth in the womb, she was completely healthy.

Due to albinism, Kacha has very sensitive skin and weaker eyesight, but Canada does not have much heat and is generally fine in this climate. Although doctors still do not recommend her to stay in the sun for a long time.

Judith, who came to Canada from Nigeria in her youth, is well aware of the prejudices about albinos in her homeland. This was one of the reasons why at first she was very afraid and worried about Kachi. But doctors' consultations helped her.
