With manipulators - people who are trying to evoke certain emotions in us, feelings, i.e., as they say (to hurt a living) and, starting from this, use us for their own purposes - we have to meet almost every day.
The impact takes place on your consciousness in a veiled form, whether it be the heartfelt appeals of religious missionaries carrying the word of God to the masses or the sweet admonitions of a network marketing worker to buy the "best in the world" washing powder or a representative of a political party or a new "friend".
Naturally, who would agree to have his consciousness raped openly! The task of such an impact is quite specific: to direct the opinions, motives and goals of a person in the direction necessary for the manipulator. In order to subsequently gain absolute control over the victim of their "exercises".

Unbeknownst to ourselves, we begin to think about things that yesterday were absolutely indifferent to us. By “mounting” an advertising or propaganda message, manipulators subtly calculate what kind of associations it should evoke in an unsuspecting consumer of information. At first glance, a single newspaper article or TV show is completely neutral, but the imperceptible details introduced in them can direct the audience's imagination in the right direction - causing certain associations.
As a result, the image of a product, service or candidate for deputy is formed at the level of the unconscious. Aerobatics in the use of "associative binding" is the skillful presentation of such messages in a certain order: due to the inertia of human thinking, the impression received from the previous information block is superimposed on the next one. The image "overgrown" with additional details (positive or negative - does not matter) is fixed in the minds of the target audience.

What can we say about the notorious advertising slogans! Who among us has not repeated in our minds, like a mantra, ingrained in our memory, an obsessively absurd tongue twister? Sometimes there are true talents among creators and copywriters: their bright, often rhymed sayings improve the perception and increase the memorability of the advertising message.
It does not matter that we hardly know anything about the technical characteristics and taste of the advertised product: when a successful slogan is used in its promotion on the market, not only and not so much a feature of a particular product is imprinted in the brain, but its idealized and attractive (even though run and buy) image.

Among the "intellectuals" there is an opinion that people with little education are easily amenable to manipulation. And they themselves, they say, the chosen and refined, have a certain immunity. The manipulator seeks as quickly as possible - on the fly - to grab your attention. Suspicious contact must be interrupted at least for a while: drink a glass of water, take 21 sips (to calm the nerves), massage the center of the back of the head - its most prominent part (where the "crystal of will" is located - in fact, the ultimate goal of the manipulations performed).
