True, we note right away that there are no real grounds to classify it as an artificial object (apart from the "game of numbers" and comparisons, which allow us to attribute everything you wish!). It is believed that Mount Rtan has healing power, while there are many legends about it. According to some legends, Roman legionaries came here to heal wounds received in battles. Another story explains the mysticism of Rtani by the fact that there was once supposedly a wizard's castle, and his treasures, books and potions are still hidden somewhere in the depths of the mountain …
It is not for nothing that science fiction writer Arthur Clarke called Mount Rtan "the center of the Earth", storing some special energy. Another interesting legend says that the Egyptian god Ra himself once lived on its top, in person! Then it was considered the "center of the Earth". Ra fell in love with the beautiful Illyrian woman, who was the ruler of the local lands, and helped her to conquer many of the surrounding lands. However, these are legends. But what has been established for certain - there are underground lakes under the mountain. In addition, numerous ionizing and electromagnetic radiation has been recorded in these places, the source of which remains unknown. And the mountain itself, as we have already mentioned, is considered curative … UFOs have also been repeatedly observed here.
There are many rocky cliffs on the northern slopes of the mountain, and the southern slopes are covered with meadows with rich vegetation. There are plant species that do not grow anywhere else in the world! Mountain savory (the famous "Rtan tea") also grows here: this plant has real medicinal properties and is an aphrodisiac.
An amazing fact is that trees do not grow in the upper third of Rtani, as on most other mountains of comparable height: only herbs (including just Rtani tea) and other low-growing plants grow. As for the trees in the “wooded” part of the mountain, many of them are noticeably curved and deformed.
