Many anomalous zones are now in the wilderness and desolation. One such mysterious place is Shushmore. It is lost in the middle of dense forests, at the junction of the Vladimir region and the Shatursky district of the Moscow region, right on the path of the long-abandoned Kolomensky tract.
It must be said that since ancient times Shushmor had a reputation for ill fame. At the end of the 19th century, there, in the forest, an inspection official disappeared without a trace, along with a cab, a cart and a horse. The undertaken searches did not bring success, in the end it was decided to blame the bandit attack.
However, the disappearances continued. From the known information that has come down to us, it turns out that after only four years after the disappearance of the official, a whole convoy carrying iron, which consisted of four carts, disappeared in Shushmore. Once again, no trace was found that could shed light on the cause of these disappearances.
And then a series of such inexplicable cases of missing people continued. The victims were: the postman who disappeared on the way from Yegoryevsk to Vladimir, the land surveyor Rodionov, who was driving along the forest road in a chaise, as well as two peasants who disappeared on the same road.
This is only known, but in the period from 1893 to 1921 more than twenty people disappeared without a trace in Shushmor.
Old-timers of those places said that in the middle of the dense Klyazmen forests, in a remote tract, there was a stone hemisphere, 3 meters high and 6 meters in diameter, around there were stone pillars.
Once, this megalithic structure was a pagan temple, but now everything has long been abandoned, overgrown with moss and hidden in the forest thicket.
Not so long ago, specialists who study terrestrial geomagnetism visited Shushmore. The measurements obtained gave an unexpected result.
