Yeti, Bigfoot, Bigfoot, Sasquatch - in the legends of different peoples of the world there are references to a strange and scary creature that lives in deep forests and inaccessible areas. It is surprising that legends and myths of different peoples of the world describe this creature in almost the same way. Bigfoot is tall, stooped, broad at the shoulders and covered with thick fur. It rarely appears in the eyes of a person, but sometimes it leaves huge marks, frightening hunters and foresters.
It is noteworthy that there is nothing supernatural in the existence of Bigfoot. Cryptozoologists say that the existence of an unknown subspecies of the bipedal monkey is quite possible. Moreover: people who managed to get samples of yeti wool handed them over for genetic examination. According to its results, it turned out that most of the samples belonged to some other animals and had nothing to do with the Yeti. However, in several cases, scientists had to admit: they are dealing with a creature whose genetic code does not belong to any of the species known to science.
Scientists of the USSR seriously studied eyewitness accounts who claimed to have seen snowmen, and under the Ministry of Culture there was a society of cryptozoologists that was looking for Yeti.
Recently in Canada, another find was discovered, indirectly confirming the existence of the snowmen. Scientists studying the behavior of animals in their natural environment in the north of the country have discovered the alleged Bigfoot rookery. A deep den, supposedly built by a bear, was used by the Yeti as a kind of dugout. Next to her, researchers found several gnawed deer corpses. In addition, the ground around was strewn with huge footprints, clearly not bearish. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) The owner of the den was not there. Scientists installed several camera traps, which also could not capture it - apparently, the Yeti smelled the strangers and hurried to retreat. However, several samples of unusual wool were found in the district, and this is already a success: perhapswith the help of genetic expertise, scientists will be able to obtain at least some information about their owner.
