A resident of the northern capital managed to meet a real ghost on a night street. Moreover, the man, who wished to remain anonymous, practically touched a guest from another world and even captured him in a photograph. An eyewitness told one of the local print media about his meeting with the phantom. According to the St. Petersburg resident, the mysterious meeting took place on Thursday, March 17th.
The witness, whom the journalists call Oleg, found himself after dark in one of the courtyards near the Chkalovskaya metro station. The man claims that it was a little over eight in the evening. The Petersburg resident was returning home from service and walked through the courtyard-well on Gatchina Street. The place was very dark, and the lighting was provided by a single dim lantern nearby.
At a certain moment, Oleg felt that he felt uncomfortable for no apparent reason. He instinctively turned around and noticed behind him a dense clot of either fog or steam, which hung motionless above the ground. An eyewitness saw in him the outlines of a child aged five or six. The man carefully took a mobile phone out of his pocket and photographed the phantom, but the latter did not even move. Then the resident of St. Petersburg, who plucked up courage, reached out his hand and tried to touch the ghost, but it instantly evaporated into the air, leaving no trace behind.

The witness says: “A very contradictory feeling came over me. On the one hand, I felt relief, but there was also some degree of emptiness."
Oleg had never met ghosts before. However, the man and his wife have some guesses as to whose spirit it could be. Last fall, Oleg's wife had an abortion. According to the couple, it is possible that the ghost of his unborn child appeared to the father, although, of course, we can talk about a completely random ghost, which then turned out to be in the same deserted courtyard as the St. Petersburg resident.
