An Irish family living in Londonderry, a few days ago went to nature to relax and enjoy the warm weather. Jerry and Tim Morgan, 35, and their two children, Christina, 13, and Finn, 6, arrived in the forest and soon approached the nearby village of Donegal. There, the mother of the family took out a mobile phone and photographed the offspring walking along the path.

The resulting picture shows Christina turning around, whose face Morgana chose not to show to Internet users, and Finn walking in front. However, the image also captures something different that the Irish are unable to explain. Returning home from a walk, Jerry looked at the photographs taken during the day on the computer and suddenly noticed that in the above photograph with the trail, a whitish translucent figure of a man was visible. A human silhouette stands nearby near a tree and, turning its head to the side, looks at the photographer.

Jerry immediately showed the find to her relatives, and the Morgan, after consulting, decided that the mother had managed to photograph the ghost of an English soldier during the Irish War of Independence 1919-1921. If you look closely, you can see that the ephemeral man in the photo is wearing a raincoat, soldier's boots and a cap. This was the uniform worn by the British military who fought the Irish.

The ghost of a soldier appeared specifically for the Morgan family

Jerry says, “I noticed this ghost standing in front of my son Finn by accident. At first it seemed to me that this is a defect in the photograph or a reflection of light on the tree. The original photo was much darker, and we had to lighten it a little to see the phantom better. None of us, of course, saw anything like it in the forest then, otherwise we would have remembered. It seems to us that this is the spirit of a soldier who died somewhere in these places almost a century ago."

The Morgans were so interested in the mystery of the ghost they photographed that they turned to Dublin historian Ken McCormack for help. Glancing at the image, the professor said that the translucent figure looked like an English officer of the twenties. Despite the fact that the specialist does not really believe in the afterlife, he confirmed that relatively large battles did take place in the same forest near the village of Donegal, and as a result of which many British and Irish people died.

The picture has become the subject of heated discussions on many sites. Some regulars of the World Wide Web think that it is foolish to deny the obvious: a ghost is definitely visible in the photo. Others speculate that the image was edited and the silhouette of a soldier added to the image by an Irish family. Some commentators claim that the image is not unusual at all, and it could just as well be argued that the silhouette of a giant duck's head is visible at the end of the trail. Philosophers in this case would say that everyone is right exclusively. Why? But this eternal mystery of our multidimensional world, the secrets of which we will never comprehend. It's like an eternal ascent to God …
