A two-headed dolphin was brought to one of the Turkish beaches. The body of a dead mutant was found on the coast in Izmir. He was noticed by a local resident - physical education teacher Tugrul Metin.

As it turned out, a one-year-old baby dolphin washed ashore - its body length is 3.2 feet (about a meter). The photograph, published by the British Daily Mail, shows that the "monster" has two heads and one tail.

Tugrul Metin told reporters: “I noticed a dolphin while still at sea and watched as it was washed ashore. At first I thought what it seemed to me. I have never seen anything like it and was just shocked."

The man reported his find to the police. Specialists came to the beach and took the dolphin's body for further examination. Biologists have found that none of the heads have properly developed eyes. The respiratory opening is also not developed on one head. At the same time, by some miracle, the baby lived for a whole year. His mother apparently took care of him.

They became interested in an unusual creature at Akdeniz University. Scientists note that they are happy to have the opportunity to study a dolphin with such deviations, since such Siamese twins are quite rare.

Of such large marine life, two-headed until now, only sharks have come across. And more than once.
