I opened the textbook “General History. Recent history , in which the so-called authors O. S. Soroko-Tsyupa and A. O. Soroko-Tsyupa (probably fathers and children).

Foreword. My youngest is an ordinary teenager. But he likes to read historical books, including about V. O. V. (Bondareva, Bykova, etc.). He reads a little, from my point of view, but looks at everything critically.

He opened his textbook "General History. Recent History "for grade 9, which studies the entire history of the 20th and 21st centuries. The Second World War is allocated 19 pages, of which 2 pages are about the eve of the war, its beginning and the defeat of France, 1.5 pages - the Great Patriotic War, including Zhukov's photo, until the summer of 1942. Of these one and a half pages, half a page is a criticism of Stalin.

Of these 19 pages, in detail:

- 2 pages - Eve of the war, beginning, defeat of France

- 1.5 pages - The Great Patriotic War, including a photograph by G. K. Zhukov., Until the summer of 1942. On this, according to the so-called authors V. O. V. ended. Of these one and a half pages, half a page is a criticism of J. V. Stalin. - 6 pages - a radical turning point in the Second World War, not in the VOV, but in the world war (!!!!). This is half a page about the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of the Kursk Bulge. The remaining 5.5 pages are about Pearl Harbor (with photos), photographs with biographies of Churchill and Eisenhower, photos of the Tehran conference, the creation of the anti-Hitler coalition, the resistance movement

5 pages - the final period of the Second World War. Half a page about the Soviet-German front and then about the successes of the troops of the anti-Hitler coalition, various conferences and about the surrender of Japan.

2.5 pages - summary 2 M. V. - common words

Promotional video:

1 p. - Statement by Churchill, US Secretary of State Atchison, Prime Minister of Japan….

1.5 pages - let's summarize. Blah blah blah about the grandiose successes of the anti-Hitler coalition …….

I do not know whom we are raising, but as one of the clever ones said, “the people forgetting their history has no future”. There are no major battles, there are no names Gastello, Talalikhin, Kosmodemyanskaya, etc. There is no essence of the Feat of the Victory Soviet People - the whole united Europe was against us with resources many times greater than ours.

Pay attention to how scrupulously all countries cherish the grains of their history, and only in our country less attention is paid to national history than foreign history.

If our children all 25 years after the collapse of the USSR taught such a story, now it is clear where we got such a generation and such a country….
