As it turned out, specialists of such an advanced agency as NASA in the United States still rely on the strength of their magical amulet, which is 6 thousand years old. It is the oldest metal product known today.

The amulet, serving its owner as a talisman, was found during excavations in Pakistan, not far from an ancient village called Merragarr. The settlement was discovered by archaeologists who investigated events dating back to the Neolithic era. When the age of the find was established, it became a clear example of how ancient people had already mastered the methods of smelting metal models.

To determine the method by which such an ancient amulet was made, scientists had to resort to a method called photoluminescence imaging.

After the experiments, it was found that in the manufacture of the amulet, a melt of metals containing a large amount of copper was used in a clay mold, which was made in advance.

This method of a kind of "casting" of copper products remains, despite the fact that more than sixty centuries have passed since its invention (this is just the last date confirmed by historians so far), still popular.

The only thing that is still unknown to the media is why NASA considers the found ancient amulet useful for its work, and how, according to the US space agency, it helped him in the development of airless spaces.
