Nobody. And how can you think THAT about an ordinary grandmother, because she is a real "God's dandelion"! Moreover, this is from the realm of fantasy - a person turns into an animal! Then where did such talk come from? What is this smoke without fire?
Apparently, there is something in these scary stories. Someone, but my grandmother, I believe. When she was still a schoolgirl, they had a real night witch in their village. A small nondescript house with two windows and a dilapidated fence stood on the very edge of the village. For some reason, people were afraid to walk past this house, and they did not let their children in that direction. It was rumored that an evil grandmother lives there - a terrible witch who turns into a pig at night. Of course, the kids believed, and the older ones laughed. But they did not dare to approach the ill-fated house.
I must say that the old woman herself also avoided human society, and it was impossible to find her among the grandmothers peacefully cooing on the bench. Perhaps they simply didn’t want to be accepted into "high society" because of her notoriety. But His Majesty Chance once put everything in its place.
With one of the villagers, the witch grandmother did not get along especially well. And one day that woman was returning late at night from a neighboring village with her husband. Since at that time there was no personal transport yet, everyone moved on horse sleds, including this family. And suddenly a huge pig ran out of the bush and threw itself at the horse's feet. The mare stopped rooted to the spot. The pig did not let her pass, getting tangled underfoot. The agitated husband took a stick and hit the insolent cattle on the sides, hitting her on the nose from full swing. The pig ran away into the bushes, as if it were not there at all.
The next day, conversations spread among the villagers that the witch was lying beaten, with a broken nose. Like, he can't get out of bed. These rumors reached the spouses who saw a strange pig at night. And for some reason they decided to go to this grandmother's home. No one ever found out what happened during this meeting, but after that both became seriously ill and aged ten years in a year. Perhaps the night witch cursed them - they died long and painfully. The grandmother herself died shortly after the incident. But her death was more mysterious than her life.
They say that witches cannot die without giving their gift to anyone. This power does not let them go, and they suffer greatly. In order for the witch to die, it was necessary to take her hand - then she would transfer her power to this person and at the same moment give up her spirit. The same thing happened with that grandmother. And one of the old women went to the trick. Quickly thrusting a broom into the hands of the witch, she ran away from her. She, thinking that she was holding someone's hand, shouted heart-rendingly: “Na! Take it! - and died. Then this broom was burned in the stove. They say he rushed about all over the stove and cracked very violently, and the soot was thrown after him in the wind. This is how the story of the village witch ended, but no one lives in her old ruined house and no one even comes close to it. They say that the closer you come to this ill-fated hut, the more dizzy.
To turn into an animal, the witch must jump over 7 knives stuck in the ground and roll on the ground. Knives are stuck in a certain sequence and for each there is a spell. This terrible ritual is done on special days, in accordance with the lunar calendar. And if during the period when the night witch in the form of a pig or a black cat walks somewhere, someone changes the sequence of knives, she will never be able to turn back into a human.
