For the most part, we know about this lake as the deepest place, which stores 19% of the fresh water supply. By the way, the exact depth has not yet been established, but our story is not about fresh water, but about rocks and caves that keep many secrets.
Tourists write various tales, most of them revolve around the Borga-Dagan ice cave. In various travel blogs, I managed to collect different stories that happened to them. Let's start simply with the visions that people had to meet: strange circles on the water, a sharp change in weather in this place and giant people under water.
In March, residents of Bayandai saw another UFO landing. They observed strange phenomena in the region of the "Baikal Triangle": luminous balls, sparkling concentric circles. At the same time, many eyewitnesses claimed that everything they saw was accompanied by a "loss in time."
But local shamans who live on Olkhon Island explain the visions of people by the fact that the power and strength of nature, which is concentrated in this place, sometimes leads to a little insanity. True, at the same time, the aborigines of the Baikal Islands do not dare to assert that this lake has no higher power. That is why fishermen, going out to fish, necessarily perform a ritual and sacrifice to the spirit of Lake Burkhanu for successful fishing, otherwise they may not return.
Perhaps these are all fairy tales, but as a fact, evidence remains that ships and people disappear on Lake Baikal almost every year. True, for the most part, there are quite real explanations for this: the insidiousness of nature, because there are many craters in Baikal.
Baikal cannot be called a lost place for tourists, on the contrary, many people come there. But my blog is about an impossibility for people like me who cannot shell out 100 thousand rubles from their pockets to look at the crystal lake Baikal with their own eyes.
