Speaking about secret societies, one cannot but reveal the concept that is often encountered in this connection - "conspiracy theology". Its meaning lies in the fact that in modern society there is a conspiracy of influential secret societies, which are, in particular, the Illuminati and Freemasons. The purpose of this conspiracy is to overthrow legitimate governments (formerly monarchies), followed by the establishment of puppet regimes and, ultimately, the New World Order.

It should be said that conspiracy theories have many opponents, who claim that conspiracy doctrines speak not so much about really scientific theories as about legends, guesses and rumors. Such critics argue that conspiracy theories are most often used to explain current complex social processes. A number of scientists believe that the conspiracy approach does not have common sense, and the evidence base is unreliable. Such men of science attribute fanaticism to conspiracy theories.

In this regard, one should immediately pay attention to the "evidence" of a number of official theories, which are generally devoid of evidence, but for some reason still successfully exist in textbooks of secondary and higher educational institutions. An example is Darwin's infamous theory of evolution. Isn't its extraordinary vitality evidence of the strong interest of influential people who are capable of seriously influencing the opinion of the scientific world? After all, it is no secret that if a scientist's opinion does not coincide with the generally accepted (especially on fundamental issues), then he is unlikely to have a successful career.

Therefore, the official opinion must be treated very carefully, and especially in matters of politics. Everyone knows that political action in reality is inextricably linked with secrecy both at the planning stage and at the stage of implementation. Therefore, it is often impossible to distinguish between ordinary politics and conspiracy. Today we are witnessing the emergence of information technologies that did not exist before. In particular, today, researching methods can attract the attention of a very large number of people. And what exactly you offer them - a product, a book to read or a new theory - is the second question. It is important to understand that the information component has radically changed the world.

At the same time, there is a deeper plan, to which science and academic knowledge have no relation at all - they simply do not feel it. The spirit is involved here, and not the laws of nature alone, as is commonly believed. There is consciousness, directing free will and free action. If you ask any science, is it capable of demonstrating accurate and comprehensive knowledge even in its field of experience? The answer is obvious - scientific knowledge is very incomplete and relative, and therefore it is simply not capable of giving an answer to such questions.

There is a traditional popular view that historical processes are random. But modern historians are well aware that history has logic and order, and besides, it is inherent in mystery. The conjecture about the participation of special groups of people who are aware of their mission in the direction of the historical process is the basis of the views that formed the basis of conspiracy theories. The Illuminati are a prime example of such groups. Conspiracy studies deeply correspond to the spirit and letter of any true spiritual tradition.

If you look closely at the historical process, you can clearly see that it has meaning and purpose. History is governed by combinations of principles expressed in various ideological forms. These forms have their carriers among people, hierarchically grouping around them. The meaning and purpose of history are connected with a divine plan in terms of scale, and therefore their comprehension belongs to the sphere of metaphysics, spirit, tradition, and religion. At the same time, the last area is the most mysterious, since in it the real contact of the divine and the earthly takes place.

This is where the level of the sacrament comes into play, whether a person believes in it or not. Spiritual organizations participating in history in accordance with the meaning of history itself, of necessity, turn out to be "secret." In Christianity, this thought is expressed in the tradition of the "holding one", that is, of the mysterious Divine presence that protects the earthly world from the coming of the Antichrist (2 Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians). Antichrist, in turn, is inextricably linked with the "mystery of lawlessness" described in the Holy Scriptures. All these processes must find their solution at the end of earthly history before the coming of Jesus Christ. But in order to directly influence the course of external events, metaphysical "secret" centers create intermediate organizations that are not endowed with the fullness of strictly metaphysical knowledge. It is these organizations that serve as the instrument of the true invisible centers, and were called "secret societies". The Illuminati were extremely influential at this stage in history.
