Former policeman from Dagestan Arsen Bayrambekov will stand trial on charges of committing six murders in the Sverdlovsk region, including ritual ones. This was reported by the press service of the RF IC.

“The Fourth Investigation Department of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has completed investigative actions in the criminal case against Arsen Bayrambekov. He is accused of committing crimes under Art. "Murder" and "Arms trafficking". According to the investigation, in the period from 2002 to 2014, Bayrambekov committed six murders in the Sverdlovsk region,”the press service said.

According to the investigation, in 2014, being keen on studying occult rituals, Bayrambekov committed the murder of four people in the Sverdlovsk region who did not have a permanent place of residence. “When committing these crimes, Bayrambekov observed the canons of the sacrifice ritual, namely: the murder was committed by him at night, in a forest, with a lit fire, in a circle made of stones and was accompanied by reading prayers,” they added.

Bayrambekov also committed two contract killings in 2002 and 2010. “In the course of studying the data on the personality of Bayrambekov, it was established that before committing the crimes, he served in the patrol and post of the police in the Republic of Dagestan for 1 year. In relation to Bayrambekov, three psychological and psychiatric examinations were carried out, according to the results of which he was recognized as sane,”the press service said.

They added that the investigation has collected a sufficient evidence base, the criminal case will be sent to confirm the indictment.
