Exactly 24 years have passed since Eric Thomason from the city of Maslin Beach, which is located in the south of Australia, managed to photograph a UFO rising from the ocean.

In the early morning of March 10, 1993, 69-year-old Eric, inspired by the most beautiful photograph of dawn in one of the magazines, took with him the most ordinary Kodak S50 soap dish and decided to climb the 60-meter top of the old mine to photograph the rising sun.

Much to the chagrin of the aspiring landscape photographer, the morning turned out to be cold and cloudy. At 6:00, when Eric was about to leave, something similar to the command room of a submarine began to rise from the ocean 400 meters from the coast. Then the object rose above the water and, to the great surprise of the eyewitness, turned out to be a flying saucer with large square windows on the hull.

Not bewildered, Eric took the first picture at the moment when three thin supports located on the bottom of the flying ship began to be pulled inward.

“I saw it spinning and I heard the water dripping from the ship,” said Eric, who had the idea that the sun had already risen and was an easy target for a UFO.

“I knew that UFOs were abducting people, so I went down the slope, stopped at the mine and took a second picture. Just at that moment, another object separated from the large object. Since the sun was shining directly into the lens, I decided to move a little to the other side."

The small disk separated from the bottom of the ship, on which three bright lights shone, stopped, and then began to move upward with the large ship. Before the objects disappeared, Eric managed to take a couple more photos.

This story gets even weirder because, after returning home that morning, Eric has not told anyone, not even his wife, about what he saw. And only in 1994, when he saw the news about UFOs on TV, he sent a report to the Australian Society for UFO Research.

“The pictures are very terrible. There are only two options: either it is a clever fake or the photographs by Eric Thomason are the most amazing to date,”said Stefan Isaksson, a Swedish UFO expert.

“At first he didn’t tell me anything, because he didn’t think that photographs could be of any importance,” said the wife of Eric Thomason to the questions of ufologist Stefan Isaksson. “I'm sure this is a spaceship. Eric is not a liar and I trust him."
