A unique artifact of the 15th-16th centuries was found in Moscow: a fragment of a container for storing relics. The panel of the icon-reliquary is made of copper alloy using the casting technique. A small pectoral medallion, just over 3 cm wide, contained the entire canonical plot of the Nativity of Christ: it depicts the Mother of God and the infant Christ, the righteous Joseph, the Magi with gifts, shepherds and animals.

The underclothes were made of copper; in all likelihood, it belonged to a poor believer. It is possible that the icon-reliquary was lost on the road that connected the Kremlin and Kitai-Gorod with the Zlatoust Monastery.

At present, improvement works are underway in eight lanes in the center of Moscow in the area between Solyanka and Maroseyka. During the implementation of the entire program, many important discoveries were made in the capital; in particular, an underground secret room was found.
