Video: The Rise of the Machines – Why Automation is Different this Time 2024, May
Anonim

In 2017, the leaders of the world's industries and computer technology signed the supercomputer control law. Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, and hundreds of other researchers and IT experts have compiled a list of 23 principles to follow when developing a super mind. Why did the creators of artificial intelligence need a rigid framework? What are scientists afraid of? Are we already really threatened with the uprising of machines and the Apocalypse of fantastic action movies will become a reality?

In the modern world, the main threat to the labor market is not migration, crises or local conflicts at all. The main danger to humans is robots. In the next 20 years, they may leave half of the world's population unemployed. The automation of factories and factories has already deprived many workers of their previous earnings; now it is the turn of representatives of other professions.

In the coming years, traditional farms will completely disappear in Japan, they are already being replaced by robotic farms, where specially trained machines are plowing in the fields. The reasons are obvious: robots work without interruption, do not go to sick leave and do not need a salary.

Many futurists say that in a couple of decades the plots of science fiction films about cyborgs will become one of the most likely scenarios for our everyday life. Scientists from China are already making every effort to this. They created stable droplets of liquid metal, which will serve as the basis for a new type of robots, reminiscent of the "liquid" terminator from well-known cinema.

Analyzing data on the development of high technologies, experts make a disappointing forecast; in an intellectual battle, smart machines will leave people almost no chance.

The most amazing thing is that in the near future machines will learn not only to create their own kind, but also begin to evolve.

Could it be that a human invention (robots) will eventually supplant or destroy their creators? Such theories so far seem to be fiction, however, the fantasies of the writers of the past have already become a reality, and now, in order to successfully compete with robots, humanity will have to make a rapid evolutionary leap (it is possible that we ourselves can turn into cyborgs).

The essence of the proposal is to transplant the human brain into a new bionic body. Such bodies, according to forecasts of scientists, will become a reality in the middle of this century.
