Residents of the village of Pelevtsy in the Shchuchin District are concerned about a strange phenomenon: for several days in a row in March, in clear weather, they observed an unidentified flying object in the sky.
Eyewitnesses describe that the object looks like a large LED lantern or a star: one large glow inside and seven around. All small "flashlights", moving with great speed along an unpredictable trajectory. Moreover, the villagers assure that the glow did not come from the stars.
According to the villagers, several times an unidentified flying object was seen at a distance of about 20-25 kilometers in the sky from Lithuania.
Moreover, the "aliens" adhered to a special schedule - they appeared at the same time - around 10 pm.
“We have seen a lot in our lifetime, but it was simply shocking, as any unknown phenomenon is shaking,” eyewitnesses say. “Maybe a truly unearthly civilization is watching us ?!”
This is not the first time the village has encountered a unique phenomenon. In the summer, “two absolutely identical scorched spots the size of a bus” appeared on a wheat field, residents say.
Villagers tried to photograph the UFO, but digital cameras did not meet expectations. However, not all villagers adhere to the version that extraterrestrial civilizations are interested in them.
“During the Soviet era, there was a helicopter unit in Lithuania. Perhaps there is now a military base there, and this is a drone or an unprecedented military object operating on unknown physical principles,”another eyewitness of the glow, Viktor Misyukevich, suggests, but honestly admits that it is more pleasant for him to think about the existence of other civilizations.
