Kamennoye Selo is one of the little-known interesting places in Ukraine. It is located on the territory of the Polesie Reserve. The village is represented by several hectares of forest on which huge boulders are scattered. This is one of the most mysterious places in Ukraine. It is also called "Ukrainian stonehenge", writes "Little-known Ukraine" on facebook.

In principle, huge rounded boulders can be found in many parts of the country, but only in Kamennoye Selo are they quite large and located in a deep forest.

Scientists have not yet been able to pinpoint the origin of the stones. There are two hypotheses for the origin of the tract. According to the first, the boulders were brought by the glacier about 20 thousand years ago, according to the other - they represent the remains of the foot of the ancient completely disappeared mountains, bare from the soil layers by the glacier.

The stones are located in certain places, which indicates the possible movement of them by our ancestors from place to place.

Many stones really resemble rural houses in outlines, there is a "square" with a "school", and even a "church". Most often, tourists visit the stone with the "footprints of God", a ladder is specially attached to it. According to legend, this "trail" brings the pilgrims health and fulfillment of desires.
