In the image from Mars, published on May 25, 2017 on the NASA website "Mars Rover Opportunity", a ufologist discovered a strange artifact with an inscription on the side (see video below).
In May, the rover Opportunity began exploring the Valley of Perseverance, which sits on the inner slope of the vast Endeavor Crater. The series of images shows the almost smooth surface of the valley, which, according to scientists, could have formed several billion years ago as a result of a large flow of running water.
Therefore, a large dark structure, unusual for this area, resembling an emergency space capsule or a downed satellite in appearance, immediately attracted the attention of the trained eye of a virtual explorer of the Martian expanses.
In addition, the formation in the form of a pear fallen on its side has a light rectangular spot on its side, which, according to the ufologist's assumption, may turn out to be a license plate or the name of an object. Some Streetcap1 viewers even determined that the lettering contains the number "5" and the letter "V" under the square root sign.
We can only hope that the rover operators will be just as curious, and soon it will be possible to view this object from a closer distance, since the quality of the presented photograph leaves much to be desired.
