The Turkish Airlines pilot admitted that he believes in UFOs after he personally saw the "saucer" in the air near his plane.

As reported by the HaberTurk agency, Ibrahim Bilir's distrust of the existence of aircraft of extraterrestrial origin, who retired after 40 years of work, disappeared after the Osaka-Istanbul flight.

He made this flight in 2010, being the first pilot of the liner.

“On the way back from Osaka, we and three other crews saw this phenomenon. The object approached our plane and for some time followed alongside to the right. An intense glow emanated from it, and we could not see the shape of the apparatus. He was very close to us, and until that day I did not believe in UFOs,”said the pilot.

He said that during a meeting with a UFO on the same course, only a TA board from Shanghai, a Lufthansa liner and another plane flew at different echelons.

“Thus, four crews saw this object. If I were alone, I would think it was a hallucination. But psychiatrists say that several people cannot hallucinate about the same thing at the same time,”Bilir said.

The UFO was seen elsewhere by another TA pilot, Selyhattin Sivri. In 1989, he was flying Zurich-Antalya, when in the sky over the then Yugoslavia at an altitude of 38 thousand feet (11.5 thousand meters) he noticed a "square flying object".

According to him, the ground services monitoring the flight of the airliner did not notice any foreign object in the air near the plane.
