It is no secret to anyone what a brake on modern society officials represent with their main task - to create the appearance of work and at the same time get the maximum benefit from it. But it seems that this disease of modern society is coming to an end.

How? Scientists predict that the computerization of society and the development of artificial intelligence will lead to the fact that officials, as a class, will simply die out - they will not be needed, they will be replaced by computers and machines. Here is what, for example, the Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia Alexei Kozyrev says about this:

I believe that by about 2025 in our country, three main components that are today a big brake on progress will disappear in our country: officials, papers and delays in decision-making. Translation of legislation into machine-readable code will allow you to make decisions on any issue quickly, without paperwork and human factor. By eliminating only the human factor, one can forever free oneself from such vices of society as bribery, all kinds of kickbacks, red tape, lobbying, and so on. In addition, all this will be carried out without paperwork online, which will eliminate mostly artificially created delays.

By the way, this, as the researchers of this phenomenon predict, will spread to all stages of the governing mechanism of society, and therefore, ultimately, should lead to the withering away of the class of officials as a whole. After all, artificial intelligence does not need any bribes or delays in making decisions, it is not prone to failures, say, due to a bad mood, from a hangover, etc.

However, skeptics do not share the optimism of supporters of artificial intelligence being introduced into the control system. In their opinion, officials are an ineradicable class of human society, and therefore they will do everything possible (and even impossible) to subjugate artificial intelligence. Even Stalin, with his iron will, bestial instinct and fantastic foresight, failed to break the officials, which is why he is even called a man from the future.

Well, wait and see …
