English missionary Hudson Taylor devoted his entire life to a good goal - to establish contacts between Britain and the Middle Kingdom. The Intra-Chinese Mission founded by him became one of the main driving forces of the second half of the 19th century in bringing the two peoples closer together, although for Taylor himself this was not an easy task.
Firstly, the Chinese were suspicious of outsiders, and secondly, the Chinese government also strongly opposed the spread of Western culture and spirituality alien to this people. Suffice it to recall that by a decree from Beijing in 1900, more than a hundred missionary preachers were killed, including Hudson Taylor.
In Russia, Taylor is better known as the prophet who predicted two Great Wars (world wars) in 1889. Then, according to this confessor, the world will be engulfed in numerous rebellions and uprisings until the most amazing national awakening occurs in Russia. This awakening will gradually cover the European countries, and then all of God's light, after which Jesus Christ will come to Earth again.
