Only a small kid managed to escape, he hid behind a barrel, and therefore survived. But such a witness to the crime is unlikely to tell the details. The entire state farm is now building versions of what happened. The local veterinarian suggested that the brutal dog was working. "An external examination showed the presence of wounds on the peritoneum and bites on the neck," says veterinarian Alexander Kuzmin, "a preparation of the skin was performed - muscle tissue wasting down to bone."
According to the Novosibirsk State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, local residents panicked. Versions of the mystical chupacabra, an animal that kills goats, were used. But the veterinarian assures, no mysticism, everything is understandable. And the fact that the predator did not eat the meat, probably, was not hungry, it was driven by excitement, hunting instinct. However, the goat owner Natalya Grigorevskaya is skeptical about the killer dog. Moreover, this is not the first case of an attack on pets on the state farm: two nights earlier, a neighbor lost three animals.
“I don’t think it’s a dog,” says Natalya Grigorevskaya, “what kind of dog you need to be in order to grab your neck and crush all the bones and these wounds on the neck, where are they from? If there was a dog, I have a puppy sitting, she would, I think, tore him to pieces."
The Tolmachevites say that huge holes have recently appeared in the neighborhood of the houses, and at night a howl is heard in the field, similar to a crying of a child. They may be hyenas, but where they come from in this area is a big question. The police have already arrived at the scene of the emergency, they assure that the tracks are not dogs, but whose? So far we have not found out. Now the residents of the state farm worry not only about the life of their pets, but also about their own children. But veterinarians assure that as long as there are potential victims in the flocks, the predator will not rush at a person. Well, the carcasses of goats were burned. They were not suitable for food, they had been lying in the sun for too long.
According to local residents, the yard dogs are still going on. “The neighbor, who was the first to suffer, lost three goats, for three days he could not lure the dog out of the kennel, - says Tatiana Pridatko, - the dog did not even go out to eat”.
Near the barn where Natalya Grigorevskaya kept the goats, two deep ruts remained on the ground: here some creature jumped over the fence in one jump. And in the barn itself, Natalya found a clump of wool caught in the wire , and, obviously, not goat's, - a long, reddish color.
The head of the local administration, Viktor Kuzivanov, was personally present when inspecting the killed goats. “There are bites on the neck, as if poked with an awl,” says Viktor Stepanovich, “and not a drop of blood: neither in the body, nor on the ground. And the police are brushing them off, they say that the dogs. I tell them, it doesn't look like dogs, I called veterinarians, they also confirmed that it doesn't look like it."

Many residents of the state farm agree with Viktor Kuzivanov: the dog would gnaw the meat in shreds, or at least traces of jaws would remain. And the prints on the ground are not in the least like a dog's. In addition, in the field that shares the state farm with the neighboring village of Tolmachevo, local residents often, especially in the late evening, hear strange sounds: some say that they look like an infant cry, others like the meow of kittens, only very loud.
“I live in the village of Tolmachevo,” says Sofia Mindolina, “and I go to work across the field to the state farm. And just then, when Natalia's goats were bitten, I go to work and hear in the field some kind of loud lingering meow. I also thought, why is this cat screaming like that?
In the same place, in the field, Sibnet.ru correspondents managed to find traces among cows and dogs that are clearly visible in clay soil, reminiscent of the imprint of two massive fingers with sharp claws and a third finger, also slightly set aside, like a thumb on a human hand, which is also clawed. They come across different sizes - that is, mysterious predators (if these are their tracks, of course) there are at least two individuals in the area.
“I often see some animals here,” says the shepherd Alexei Khromov. - They are about the size of an average dog, their hair is gray, they run away from people. They hide in holes, there are many holes in the ground. And they make disgusting sounds, like quacking. Maybe they just come out of their holes at night and eat goats?

However, Sergei, the guard of the greenhouse complex located in the field, claims that the shepherd meets ordinary steppe foxes - Korsakov: “There are many of them here, they live in holes, they hunt mice. Although this year they have become much smaller. We used to catch foxes with our bare hands near holes, but this summer you rarely see adults. And here's the strange thing: before, there were a lot of cats in the district, they all disappeared somewhere this year."
Sergei is in no hurry to build any assumptions about who is killing cattle, although it is stipulated that the mysterious predator is very clever: “Armenians live in Tolmachevo, they have more cattle than in the entire state farm herd. Any animal would feed there, but they have huge and terrible dogs. This creature does not climb to them, but somehow finds those yards where it will be safer for her. " Local residents are increasingly inclined to the version of the mysterious "Chupacabra". This semi-mythical beast, judging by media reports, is often seen in different parts of the world, and sometimes it even gets into the camera lens. But no one managed to catch him.

Descriptions of the activities of the "goat vampire", as the word "chupacabra" is translated from Spanish, almost exactly coincide with what is happening on the state farm. Viktor Kuzivanov, in an interview with the Sibnet.ru correspondent, recalled that two years ago, one of the local residents told him that he had seen some kind of animal in the forest. “The hind legs are long, the front ones are short,” recalls Viktor Stepanovich, “long ears, huge claws. And full mouth of long thin teeth."
And this description with numerous testimonies of alleged eyewitnesses of the visits of the mysterious Chupacabra also practically coincides.
Natalya Kolyasova, the investigator of the Investigation Department for the Novosibirsk District, is also ready to believe in the involvement of the Chupacabra in the mass murder. “Goats have bite points on their necks around the Adam's apple a little less than a pea in diameter,” says Natalya Petrovna, “and there is no blood. I myself am ready to assume that the Chupacabra exists, and that it has started up here, although this is absolutely fantastic. " But the local district police officer Konstantin Sotnik claims that wild dogs are wielding in the yards: “There is no Chupacabra! When I worked on another site, I already had such a case. These are dogs, we are looking for them, we patrol the streets at night."
