The history of the existence of the mysterious pipes on Mount Baigongshan (China) remains an insoluble mystery for modern researchers. Their existence became known in 2002, when the press agencies of China published information about the planned trip, the purpose of which was to carefully examine the mysterious metal pipes protruding in the stone structure.

This unusual find was discovered by a group of enthusiasts who increasingly visit China in search of archaeological gems as the country has become more open.

The Baigun pipes are still shrouded in mystery, there are only a few hypotheses.

To get the opportunity to see this unusual creation, apparently created by man, you need to go to the remote province of Qinghai, located on the outskirts of China, near the border with Tibet.

This is a typically deserted area where even the shepherd does not stay one day longer. But there is a well-trodden path that testifies to the human curiosity of this unusual place.

And people are drawn to the place where there are two strange lakes. Most surprising and inexplicable is the fact that one of them is freshwater and the other is salty.

Even in the first assumption, this state of affairs seems impossible. Nature has set a trap here that scientists have not yet been able to explain. The freshwater lake does not hide secrets, we do not find anything special in it.

However, when we find ourselves on the southern shore of a salt lake, we reach the foot of a lonely rock, in which there are three relatively small caves.

The beliefs of the local population represent Baigun not as a mountain, but as a pyramid that was erected by someone unknown, but extremely powerful.

The mountain, or the Baigun pyramid, reaches 56 meters in height. The locals are well aware of the caves that have existed for a very long time.

Two of the famous entrances are blocked, even local old-timers do not remember when it happened. However, the third cave remains accessible.

When we go inside, we can observe white walls, so smooth that they seem to be polished. They are 2m wide, 8m high and 6m long.

There are only twelve trumpets in the cave of indeterminate origin. Each of them has a diameter of 10 to 40 centimeters.

Their location is strictly thought out. Experts confirmed that engineering knowledge was required for their execution.

When we leave the cave and head towards the lake shore, we will stumble upon the remains of numerous similar pipes. Some of them emerge from the ground, others from rocks. Their diameter mostly ranges from 2 to 5 centimeters. However, people who carefully searched this place found those that were no more than 5 millimeters in diameter!

Divers took part in one of the research expeditions, whose task was to search for a salt lake. Their report showed that there are many similar structures at the bottom of the lake as well. Some of them are visible on the bottom surface, while others are hidden in the silt layer.

What are the pipes made of?

The pipes contain 30% iron oxide and a large amount of calcium oxide and silicon. These results indicate a significant age of pipes - 20-30 thousand years!

Where did these pipes come from?

Several hypotheses are known about the creation of mysterious pipes on Mount Baigun. Some scientists exploring this unusual place say that it is the remains of an old aqueduct. It is said that in the past there was a pyramid at the top of the mountain with a height of 50-60 meters.

On one of the walls of the pyramid there were triangular windows. The inner part of the pyramid had to be equipped with a complex mechanism through which water from the lake was supplied through a complex system of pipes.

Who and why created such a creation?

It is speculated that perhaps this place was hidden due to secret experiments that the Chinese population could not know about, for example, about the production and search of an elixir of immortality or an effective weapon that would give an advantage over the enemy. Despite all this, it is only known that the ancient Chinese could not yet make such pipes.

Some ufologists consider Baigunshan an ancient cosmodrome

The theory says that caves and pipes are elements left over from huge installations that were previously used by an alien extraterrestrial civilization to launch their spaceships.

It is assumed that it is the aliens who are responsible for the construction of many installations on our planet, which later had to leave them for some unclear reasons.

Geologists are constantly wondering how and where did such a large amount of iron get into this place. Soil samples were collected many times, deeper layers were also scanned, and it was shown that there are no ore deposits here.

So the situation is still considered phenomenal

Chinese scientist Liu Shaolin conducted a study that showed that pipes are composed mainly of oxides of iron, silicon and calcium. About 8% of their composition was defined by scientists as "unidentifiable". In his opinion, the Baigun pipes are the original forms of calcite.

The mystery, however, was not completely solved

In 2009, other scientists observed high levels of radioactivity in the Baygun pipes. However, it is not known what this phenomenon means in this case and why it was once created.
