A Vladivostok resident discovered a metal rack pressed in coal while lighting a fireplace. He attributed the unusual find to the coastal scientists. After a thorough study of the subject, the researchers came to the conclusion that the find is 300 million years old and was created by a living being. But scientists cannot answer the question of who could have made an aluminum gear rack.

Finding a strange artifact in coals is not an isolated case for our time. The first such find was discovered in 1851 in Massachusetts during blasting operations in a quarry. The silver-zinc vase found in coal dates from the Cambrian period, which began 500 million years ago. In 1912, an American scientist from Oklahoma discovered a 312 million year old iron pot in the coals. In 1974, an unknown aluminum part was found in the sandstones of a Romanian quarry. A part that looks like a hammer or support for the Apollo landing leg could not have been created by man, since it belongs to the Jurassic period. All these unusual findings baffle scientists, as they undermine all kinds of fundamental concepts of modern science.

The recent discovery in Vladivostok has again made scientists think. The coal, in which the unusual detail was found, was brought to the Primorsky Territory from Khakassia, from the Montenegrin region. The age of these coals is known - 300 million years. Therefore, scientists assumed that the metal part must be the same age as coal.

When geologists carefully smashed a piece of coal, they discovered a light and soft piece 7 cm long, made of an alloy of aluminum (98%) and magnesium (2%). On the one hand, pure aluminum is extremely rare in nature, so scientists assumed that the part was created artificially. On the other hand, the unusual alloy of the part allowed scientists to explain the safety of the item. Pure aluminum is covered with a strong oxide film, which prevents further corrosion. As a result, 98% aluminum alloy withstands high pressures, extreme temperatures and harsh environments.

Scientists have also wondered about the cosmic origin of aluminum. Through the study of meteorites, science is aware of the existence of extraterrestrial aluminum-26, which decays into magnesium-26. The presence of 2% magnesium in the alloy may just indicate the cosmic origin of the object. But to confirm this hypothesis, it is necessary to conduct a number of additional studies.

The last thing that surprised scientists was the unusual resemblance of the object to a modern gear rack. It is difficult to imagine that nature could create an object with six regular teeth and the same pitch-spacing between them. In addition, the size of the spacing between the teeth was unusually wide in relation to the teeth themselves. This rail was probably part of a complex mechanism. Now such parts are used in modern microscopes and various electrical devices. Another question arises, how such a complex detail could have been created by man many millions of years ago.

After the find became known, conspiracy theorists claimed that the rack belonged to a UFO. But Russian scientists are in no hurry to make loud statements, preferring to conduct additional research on the subject.
