Many believe that the UFO phenomenon only manifested itself in the twentieth century; in fact, mankind has observed unidentified flying objects since ancient times, as evidenced by various ancient and medieval sources. Of course, these amazing devices were not created by the hands of earthlings, since our civilization then did not possess the knowledge and technologies necessary for this.
Interesting in this regard are the events that took place in August 1608. over the city of Nice (France). On August 5 of that year, at about eight in the evening, the townspeople saw three strange flat objects in the form of an elongated oval in the sky. At first, the objects hung over the fortress, then went down to the sea and began to slowly maneuver. Witnesses claim that the water beneath them began to boil, while yellow-orange steam rose from the surface. All this action was accompanied by a terrible rumble. A multitude of townspeople gathered at the harbor watched the events in a daze.
Then two humanoid beings in red suits emerged from one apparatus. Their bodies were covered with silver scales, their heads were very large, and round holes shone instead of eyes.
In their hands, the aliens were vertically holding some pipes, with which they sank into the water. For several hours after that, they moved around their aircraft, which hung a meter above the water. These creatures paid no attention to people. Finally they returned to their apparatus, and all three ships, instantly soaring into height, at great speed went beyond the horizon.
Return of the aliens
Two weeks passed - and the same devices appeared in the harbor again. This time the intruders were greeted with fire from many guns. However, the aliens calmly continued their maneuvers and did not react in any way to the cannonballs flying at them. An hour later, one of the devices hung over the city - and a real panic and crush began in Nice, in which several people died.
However, the ship did not perform any actions and after a certain time returned to the other two, after which all three vehicles quickly retreated to the east.

A few more days passed - and now one ship from the well-known trinity appeared in the sky over the fishing village of Martigousse (not far from Nice) and circled in the sky over it for several hours. The locals saw again two aliens, who were dressed as when they first appeared, and also made incomprehensible movements around the apparatus …
Perhaps they were looking for something? But what if French fishermen caught an artifact in the sea that belonged to aliens? This assumption seems very plausible. Especially if the aliens were directly associated with "underwater UFOs" and underwater base cities. Apparently, this artifact emitted certain waves, because it was searched for with the help of devices. And yet, for the next week, drops of red liquid fell from the sky to the earth, terrifying the townspeople. For forty days the inhabitants of Nice prayed that the Lord would deliver them from this nightmare and would not allow it in the future.
