Scientists have disappointed fans of "extreme sex" with the statement that intimacy in space is actually much less enjoyable than they might think. The corresponding statement was made by the representative of the American University of Anderson, John Milis, with whose opinion many other scientists agree. Experts explain that there are a number of reasons why attempts to indulge in amorous pleasures in weightlessness will bring more discomfort than pleasure.
Scientists say that one of the least aesthetically acceptable features of sex in zero gravity should be "clouds of sweat", which, breaking away from the bodies of partners due to sudden movements, will unite with each other and begin to accumulate around people and between them.
The authors of the study also explain that close interaction between people in space, especially like sex, in zero gravity is extremely difficult, since in the absence of gravity, any forward movement will force the partners making it to "float" in different directions. And, finally, an unfamiliar environment can simply negatively affect the level of the couple's sexual attraction.
Note that this month, scientists have already warned of the subtle disadvantages of sex in space. In a previous similar study, experts proved that sex in zero gravity can trigger motion sickness.
Meanwhile, many scientists believe that it is theoretically possible to conceive and give birth to a healthy child in Earth orbit.
