Scientists from Canada have recorded unusual light fluctuations in more than 200 stars, and suggested that such signals may be a "message from aliens" who want to say something to the inhabitants of the Earth.
Almost 50 years ago, Frank Drake, an American astronomer, created a formula by which one can calculate civilizations in the galaxy, with which it is hypothetically possible to establish contact, trying to find extraterrestrial intelligence.
Based on Drake's formula, physicist Enrico Fermi later formulated a rule called the "Fermi paradox." The physicist asked the question: why humanity can not find any traces of aliens, if there are so many alien civilizations, as expected.
Scientists, answering the question, argued that the Earth is a "unique" planet, which had unique conditions for the origin of life and the emergence of intelligent beings.
Recently, Canadian scientists managed to catch signals that could be sent by representatives of another civilization. They were atypical pulsations in the region of several hundred stars that are similar to the Sun.
