Somewhere from my teenage years, I began to wonder if an ordinary girl could become a witch. However, I was not particularly ordinary: I was a difficult character, not a fan of noisy companies, almost introverted, beautiful, but I never made friends with guys.
Probably, I re-read all the literature and went around all the sites on how you can become a witch and get superpowers. Unfortunately, I came to the conclusion that nothing shines for me. After all, the gift is passed down through a generation: from granddaughter to grandmother, and there were no such people in my family. You could still sell your soul to the Devil, but this is completely out of the realm of fantasy. And, nevertheless, there was one more way: to find a witch who does not have a granddaughter and ask her to transfer her abilities.
Don't think that I was looking for a lone witch with some wild fanaticism. No, no, I decided that if such a woman falls into my life, I will ask you to give me your gift, and if it does not, then let everything remain as it is.
That summer, I went to my classmate Lenka in the village for a couple of weeks. Then I was already nineteen years old. Together we went to the river, to the forest, sometimes to the local club, which I hated. Once, we were returning from the forest in the evening. On the way home we were stopped by an old granny. She stopped and stared into my eyes for about a minute, and then said: “Leia, what a beautiful name you have! Come to me one evening, we'll have some tea! She looked at me again and walked away. And I remained standing in a complete stupor. Until Lenka called out to me:
- Hey, calm down! Crazy old granny! What are you taking into account?
- And how does she know my name? - I asked a friend.
- So everyone in the village knows! The princess of the city has arrived!

And yet, the next day, I decided to visit that grandmother, begged Lena to show me her house. She was an old, lonely woman, without a husband, children and grandchildren, not at all remarkable. Inside is a village hut, like any lonely grandmother.
We talked with Baba Dusya for a long time, about nothing. Until she looked at me and said, “I know what you want! And I'll give it to you, I liked you, Leia. Don't ask me how this will happen. You yourself will find out everything, you will do everything yourself. And I already have to go. After these words, the grandmother sent me home.
The day passed, the second, the third … It happened on the night of August 18, 2012. I was awakened by a metallic voice with an echo in my head. I am still not sure if it was all in reality, or it was a dream. The voice ordered me, and I did everything that he said. I got out of bed, went out into the street and walked along the central road. Turn left, another turn left, then right. I found myself in the forest. I go further along the forest path. I'm walking and I'm not afraid of anything. I don’t think about wolves, snakes and other dangerous animals. I do exactly what the metal voice in my head tells me to do. I walked through the forest until I came out into a large clearing with a lake in the middle. The lake is perfectly round. I looked, and on the shore, Baba Dusya stood and said to me: “Take off your clothes! Take off your clothes completely and go into the water."
I took off all my clothes. She stripped naked and went into the water. I walked until the water was up to my shoulders. My whole body seemed to be shot through with an electric current. There is a voice in my head again, but it was already the voice of Baba Dusya. I well remember her words: “Take what you want so much. You deserve it, just take care of this gift and give it to a worthy person when you decide to die."
I don't remember what happened next. I don't even remember how I returned home. I woke up, and Lenka says to me:
- Fool? Where did you go at night?
- I went for a walk in the forest! And tell me, is there a lake in your forest? So round, round? - I asked a friend.
“You're crazy if you went there at night. People do not go there even during the day, there are snakes there. There are vipers, poisonous snakes. There are a lot of them. - A friend answered me.
A couple of hours later, I learned that Baba Dusya died that night.
I got what I wanted. Sometimes I feel the future; I see people who have little to live; I know that the girl who passed by is expecting a baby; and the motorcyclist will crash to death in a minute. So far I am only observing my abilities. You may not believe me, but I do not want to use my gift for selfish purposes, let alone harm someone. I just want to help people.
