Diamond "Hope"
This stone came to Europe along with 24 more stones thanks to Jean Baptiste Tavernier, according to legend, the Hope diamond was the left (punishing) eye of the eastern deity Rama. Since Tavernier was the official supplier of stones for Louis 14, the stone ended up with the king, who, in turn, presented the cut stone to his favorite. The first victim of the stone was Tavernier - he was torn apart by a pack of dogs, after him the mistress fell into the disfavor of the king and the stone returned to Louis again, after which he died of gangrene, stepping on a nail during dancing. The next owner of the stone was Maria - Antoinette, who was killed during the revolution.
Thanks to the next owner, the stone acquired its name, Henry Hope named the diamond in his honor and suddenly died of an unknown illness, his son was poisoned, and his grandson was ruined.
The spouses who owned the stone drowned in 1912 while traveling on the Titanic.
A woman stood in the way of the killer stone - Evelyn Walsh McLean, who challenged public opinion about this stone. The woman was sure that if the stone was consecrated, then nothing bad would happen to her, and this is partly what happened. She wore the stone without removing it, gave it to her little son and even wore it around the neck of her beloved dog, but at the age of 9 the baby was hit by a car and died, the eldest daughter committed suicide, and her husband left the family and died in a psychiatric hospital. On her deathbed, Evelyn bequeathed the necklace with the stone to her grandchildren, who immediately sold it to a jeweler.

Jeweler Harry did not believe in the tales of the lethality of the stone and put it on public display, he spent the collected money on charity, and later donated the stone to the Smithsonian Institution. Perhaps thanks to this, he remained alive.
Busby chair
The history of the killer chair began in 1702, when a young rowdy Thomas Busby was convicted of murdering a man, he beat an opponent to death with a hammer. The court sentenced him to death. Before the sentence came into force, Thomas was allowed to fulfill his last wish - to drink a glass of whiskey at the bar, sitting on his favorite chair. After drinking a glass, he looked at everyone in the bar and said that everyone who sat on his chair would die. Soon he was hanged, and Thomas's suicide speech turned into an urban legend, no one sat on his chair for 10 years.
The first victim of the chair was a chimney sweep, he came to the bar, and there were no empty seats, so he sat down on the ill-fated chair, despite the disapproving rumble of the crowd. The next day, the chimney sweep fell off the roof of the house.
1967 was rich in self-confident people who were ready to test their fate. Two young pilots did not believe in the old legend and took turns sitting on the damned chair, a few hours after leaving the bar, their car was found wrecked, both guys were killed. In the same ill-fated year, a sergeant of the British army decided to sit on a chair, a few days later, a completely healthy and full of strength lieutenant died in a military hospital from an unknown illness.
But not only self-righteous fools fell victim to the curse of Thomas Busby, the cleaning lady accidentally sat down on this chair while washing the floors and almost fell, less than a few weeks later, the woman died of brain cancer.
In order to avoid new casualties, the owner of the bar moved the chair over the fence, and the local priest also repeatedly consecrated the chair, but these measures did not help, because if a person wants to do something, he will definitely do it! The last two victims of the killer chair were two American women, both were confident that they would survive after the “sit-downs” on the chair, one of the women died as a result of a break in the elevator cable, the second was tortured to death by a pack of dogs.
During the entire existence of the legend, 65 people died, in order to avoid further victims, the chair was placed in the local museum, where it was attached to the wall at a height of 1.5 meters and a plaque with the legend and the names of all victims was hung.
Porsche 550 Spider "Little Bastard"
"Little bastard" was the name given to his new Porsche by a young, talented and very popular actor from the 50s, James Dean. The unthinkable story associated with this machine began when actor Alec Guinness and screenwriter Thelma Moss were unable to get a separate table in a cafe, and they were asked to sit down at the table with James Dean. After lunch, all three left the cafe and saw James' brand new Porsche, Alec found the car ominous and, unexpectedly for himself, told James that he would die if he got behind the wheel of this car, James did not listen to him and left. Exactly seven days later, in the middle of the desert, at a speed of 150 km / h, the car crashed into a Cadillac. The reporter reported the incident in one sentence - "James Dean - broken neck - immortality."
The next victim of the infernal machine was a fan of James Dean - Angela Perry, who bought everything that was left of the car. She restored the Porsche, and decided to drive it to the crash site, she was sure that the car would tell her what happened to her idol. Late in the evening at a speed of 150 km / h, Porsche drove into the oncoming lane and rammed the car, Angela died on the spot, without regaining consciousness from a broken neck. The surviving driver reported that the car suddenly drove into the oncoming lane.
The next victim of the car was an auto mechanic who worked in the workshop of George Barris, who bought what was left of the car, a pile of metal broke off the chain and crushed the mechanic, but he survived. Barris installed Porsche tires on another car and on the very first trip there was an accident that left the driver disabled.
"Particles" of the ominous car went to other cars, so the engine went to a surgeon who participated in amateur car races, as a result, the car turned over, the driver miraculously survived, and the wheel that fell off the car wounded the policeman. Another amateur racer was injured by Porsche's rear steering knuckles, during the race the driver lost control, crashed into a tree and died. But even after these events, George Barris decided to restore the car of the famous actor, while transporting the Porsche body, the truck turned over, the driver managed to jump out of the car and survived, but as soon as he approached the body, the "bastard" fell over on him, as a result of which the driver died.
Two more fans were injured while trying to steal the steering wheel and a bloody piece of upholstery, the first tore his arm, the second was hospitalized.
After all these incidents, George Barris decided to hide the remains of the car, but he was persuaded to give it to the exhibition of safe traffic, after the third showing of the exhibition, the garage, where all the cars were located, burned down, except, of course, the "little bastard."
At an exhibition in 1959, a repaired Porsche suddenly fell apart into 11 pieces, none of the mechanics present on the site could explain how this could have happened.
In 1960, the car was used again for an exhibition of safe traffic, but during its transport to Los Angeles, it disappeared without a trace.
