A group of independent researchers found that NASA specialists were correcting colors in photographs from Mars. Curious experts performed the opposite procedure and restored the natural colors of the Red Planet - the result shocked them.
After comparing dozens of images, the researchers found that parts of the Opportunity rover, which are blue on Earth, are red in the photo from Mars.
As it turned out, the true color of the sky on the Red Planet is blue, like on our planet. Areas of brown color were repainted in red, and green areas were completely removed during the color correction process. REN TV reports.
According to experts, green areas on the surface of Mars may indicate the presence of life there. They believe that the United States wants to make the whole world think of the Red Planet as lifeless in order to independently study it. Other experts have put forward an even more fantastic version: NASA changes colors in order to hide the real nature of the Martian landscape from prying eyes. Apparently, America hopes to find rare minerals on the planet and be the first to start extracting them.
