Vitaly Kaloev, a 62-year-old resident of Vladikavkaz, and his wife Irina had twins, a son and a daughter on December 25.
Kazakh journalist Ksenia Kaspari, the author of the book about Kaloev, "Collision", announced this on her Facebook page.

He also said that they did not know that there would be twins and even more heterosexual. “It was a surprise for us,” said Vitaly Kaloev.

In 2002, Kaloev's first wife Svetlana and their two children - son Konstantin and daughter Diana - flew on a Tu-154 from Moscow to Barcelona. All 69 people on board the Tu-154 died, including 52 children.

On February 24, 2004, Kaloev came to Peter Nielsen's house and began to demand an apology from him, pulling out and showing him photographs of his wife and children. However, Nielsen, according to Kaloev, hit Kaloev on the arm and knocked out the cards, which fell to the floor. After that, Kaloev, in passion, attacked the dispatcher with a knife and stabbed him 12 times, killing him in front of his wife and three children who had run up.
Later at the trial, Kaloev said that he did not remember the details of how he struck and did not admit his guilt in the murder. At first he was given 8 years in prison, but Kaloev was released already in 2007. In Ossetia he was greeted as a hero.
The second time Kaloev decided to marry only in 2018. He immediately told his chosen one Irina that he wanted to create a strong family. The wedding took place in June.
