Humanity in the universe is clearly not alone. But many years of searching for extraterrestrial civilizations by various programs did not bring the expected result. The result of all research is an oppressive silence. Why?
Obviously, there are civilizations higher, lower and approximately equal in terms of the current development, or rather degradation, of humanity. We can observe civilizations of higher orders only by the cyclopean, on the scale of galaxies, the results of their impact on the environment. But what's the trouble: for people, these manifestations are a consequence of the laws of nature. And our science is such that even if something does not want to fit into the current paradigm at all, it is either dismissed as unreliable and inconclusive, or ears are urgently sought for, for which a “logical” explanation is attracted.
Civilizations below our development are, of course, interesting, but until people have the ability to quickly move between the stars, their search is very problematic. Therefore, the only ones with whom we can be friends are civilizations of our level, but we also cannot get them for the same reason.
But brothers in mind, if they are a little more advanced than us, may well master the technique of interstellar voyages. Well, yes - UFO.
Another theory of their origin has recently emerged. Allegedly, the flying saucers are the fruit of waking dreams - a special state of the brain when it cannot distinguish between reality and hallucinations. Surely, this is the correct explanation in a number of cases. But how can dreams leave traces on the soil, implant strange metal objects under the skin and do much that does not fit into the "sleepy theory of aliens"?
If we turn to history, then many books and articles have already been written about paleocontacts - visits of aliens to Earth in historical and prehistoric times. And if you listen to some researchers of the Sumerian civilization, then humanity in general
the result of genetic modification, and it was formed by the crossing of aliens and human ancestors. The most interesting thing is that this theory is quite consistent with the fact that at the very beginning there were about a hundred thousand human individuals. But where did they come from - for some reason no serious scientist answers this question. Okay, let's assume that I just didn't get this answer.
There are suggestions that some great people communicated with representatives of extraterrestrial cultures, whose discoveries in various fields radically influenced our progress and culture. Buddha, Christ, Newton, Paracelsus, Tesla, Einstein were announced as acquaintances with the aliens … A long list of science fiction writers is also added there.

There are people who believe that America owes its technological rise to alien technology. Well, Russia then too?
In the military department of many countries there are departments dealing with UFOs. They collect information, analyze and give out to the public that all these are anomalous natural manifestations that have nothing to do with aliens. And no one knows what they send as reports to governments.
However, no one forbids ufologists to engage in cymbals. Study. But what can you do with maximum enthusiasm with little money? A lot, but clearly not enough for all people to believe in the phenomenon of aliens to the people.
But in fact, imagine that in a minute the TV broadcasts will be interrupted and the announcer will give an emergency message: representatives of civilization from the constellation Orion have made official contact with us. Some of the people will immediately collapse into a swoon, others will crawl out into the streets to chant and write slogans on the walls "Orions - get out of the Earth!" and "Earth is for earthlings!" Clever pessimists will understand that they have flown in to conquer or, at best, subjugate us, and optimists will welcome the "green men" as having brought good from afar. In short, the whole planet, where there are talking boxes, will be in complete disarray. And that's putting it mildly. How long the planet will recover from the shock - at least several years. In the end, they will just get used to aliens …
But, what is most interesting, the process of getting used to aliens has been launched for a very long time and is being perfectly implemented. It is held by comics, computer games, cartoons and films. After all, who is most receptive to information that is considered fantastic? Children and adolescents. Children - cartoons about Pokemon, teenagers - films about Starship Troopers.
But even here it is not so simple. In fact, there are as if several opposing teams of influence in the alien propaganda arena. One, very small in number, claims that there are aliens, but they rarely come to Earth and no one needs our planet. The adherents of this position show space travelers as cute, ridiculous, but possessing superpowers, which they use for the benefit of friends, and sometimes all of humanity. Those kids who like this theory are more likely to grow up as contactees.
Another team suggests that the aliens are all evil and ugly creatures who sleep and see earthlings in shackles or well-fried with spices. These aliens must be fought to the death. It is not difficult to assume that fans of such products will easily go to the armed opposition to those who have flown in from other worlds, without even understanding what their goals are.
The third group openly mocks the "greenies". They are smart, but complete idiots. Their appearance is unusual, but they themselves make it ugly. These products count on the same optimists.
And finally, the fourth approach: there are so many types of aliens, species, and so on, that you can get confused, but not worth it. There, the aliens are the same as people. Only a different form, with a different psychology, customs and preferences. Among them there are evil, and good, and none. Here, probably, they prepare travelers to the galaxy….
Why - we have already found out. But who? Who gives the order?
There are at least two options.
The first has already sounded: the governments of the Earth, which (suppose such a moment) have been warned that in some not too distant future, aliens will nevertheless reveal themselves to all people, and not just a select few. The governments figured it out and decided: we will cook with art.
The second option is fantastic, but it also has a right to be: with the help of alien fiction in all kinds, children somehow get used to tolerance towards future visitors to Earth.
