Last year, my husband and I flew on vacation to Canada to visit relatives. We decided to take a ride on the sights, to feel, so to speak, another civilization. At the end of the rest, we went to see Niagara Falls. Near it there is a museum called "Fort Irie", it is considered the bloodiest place in Canada.

Whoever fought there: the British, the French, the Indians, the Canadians, the Americans, and this fort, of course, passed from hand to hand many times. My husband loves such places, so we bought tickets and went on a tour. And there, it turns out, everything was preserved as it was 300 years ago! The barracks are two-storeyed, there seems to be a storehouse below, and on the second floor there are soldier's beds and so on. There was an excursion on the first floor, and I decided to go up to the second - to inspect the barracks. I go up, and there is still a wooden staircase, such a creaky one.

I entered the room and immediately felt like frost on my skin, and the feeling appeared so uncomfortable, it's hard for me to explain it. In general, I went down from there, decided - it is better to listen to the guide. I saw my husband got tired of it too, and he went upstairs. Literally a second later he flies down the stairs, says: "It's scary there." We were with relatives - a married couple - and they also decided to walk on the second floor. They went down as quickly as my husband, with the same unpleasant sensations.

And when we went there already with an excursion, in the crowd, we did not experience any strange sensations! The guide said that in one of the wars, the Indians in this very barracks cut all the soldiers in a dream, and since then the spirits have started up there. According to him, sometimes in the morning the beds made up are crumpled, as if someone slept there at night. On the wall in the barracks was a photograph of one of the previous excursions: several people were standing in a room and smiling, and in the foreground in the corner was a dark figure, looking like a man in a hoodie or a nightgown …"
