Eleven residents of the Parisian suburb of La Verrière in the department of Yvelines jumped out of the window last October because they mistook their friend for a representative of evil spirits.
Fleeing from the devil, "spiritists" jumped out of the window
The incident took place on the third floor of a residential building. In the apartment where there were 13 people, a child cried in the middle of the night. His father, an African, got out of bed and in what his mother gave birth went to the kitchen for milk to feed his son.
The neighbors who were conducting a seance called "Night of Attraction" in the kitchen were already in prostration at that moment, so they took the man for the devil, pounced on him, stabbed him with a knife and then, bleeding, pushed him out of the apartment onto the staircase.
When the wounded African began to knock on the door, the "spiritualists", who had not yet come out of their trance, were afraid that the devil would take them with him to hell, and decided to escape from him by throwing themselves out of the window. And one of them took a two-year-old daughter with him.
In total, seven adults and four children jumped out of the window, two of whom were killed.
A few months earlier, in Argentina, children also suffered as a result of similar fortune-telling - fortunately, this time there were no deaths.

As reported by the Argentinean daily Territorio digital, a girl and three boys of seven and eight years old from school no. 828 in Buenos Aires were playing (so to speak) after class at La Llorona (an analogue of the American Quija Ouija board).
How long they spent uncontrollably at school with "adult" fortune-telling is still unknown (the children are now in a psychiatric hospital), but they ended after the pencil in the girl's hand, which she drove across the board and at the same time summoned the spirit, shouting "Llorona … Llorona, Llorona!”, Exploded in the most incredible way, after which all the window panes on the floor flew out and fell off the hinges of the office doors.
Physically, none of the "spiritists" was hurt. They received mental trauma. Immediately after the explosion, the girl lost consciousness, and three boys began to fight in convulsions, which were only stopped by doctors who arrived on an urgent call from the city hospital.
By the way, the next day after the incident, the school started talking about a terrible ghost in a black robe that wanders the corridors, leaving behind a persistent smell of sulfur …
I'll take you to hell with me
The invocation of the spirits of long-dead people or someone from the representatives of evil spirits was widely practiced both in the distant past and today. However, if our ancestors, starting witchcraft, read special magic spells in order to protect themselves from the unpredictable actions of creatures from other worlds, modern lovers to find out their fate do not burden themselves with this, believing that “it will do just that”. But sometimes, as we see, it does not come off.
People who have never seen with their own eyes "possessed by demons", it is difficult to even imagine that invisible beings, sometimes released in the process of spiritualistic seances, can take possession of the human body with all the ensuing tragic consequences.
Suffice it to recall the rather sensational story in Poland that happened a couple of years ago with young guys from the Warsaw district of Praga Polnoc, who tried to summon the spirit with the help of the so-called "moving saucer".
To their surprise, the saucer "spontaneously" began to slide across the table just seconds after the start of the seance. This caused a storm of delight among those present, although everyone was 100 percent sure that this was just a "funny setup" invented by someone sitting at the table.
It ceased to be funny when one of the guys suddenly, in a strange way, with a crooked smile on his face, looked at his friends and then spoke in an "inhuman voice", thickly cursing God and threatening to immediately kill everyone in the room.
After a loud tirade, the guy leaned back in his chair and rolled his eyes. At the same time, a heavy crucifix hanging over the front door fell to the floor with a crash. Did 50 burst with no less noise? bucket aquarium, and all the water along with the fish gushed under the feet of the company.
As witnesses of this nightmare later told, the desire to quickly leave the apartment did not leave them after the start of the devilry for a minute. However, they could not do this for one reason: their asses seemed to be rooted to the chairs.
Meanwhile, the guy the demon possessed calmly got up, went into the kitchen and returned from there with a large table knife! Having looked around his friends and girlfriends who were crazy with horror, he burst out laughing like a madman, jumped up on the table in one jump and thrust a knife into his stomach with a swing!
When the orderlies carried him out of the room on a stretcher, he continued to laugh and say that he would take everyone with him to hell.
The investigator in charge of this case initially assumed that the boys and girls were "high" and saw hallucinations. However, the drug test, through which all participants in the seance passed, including the one who wounded himself with a knife, turned out to be negative.
The case, meanwhile, was not fully investigated, because during the month following the incident… all the witnesses died! The one who cut himself with a knife died in a hospital bed, and his friends - who fell under the wheels of a car, who jumped out of the window of the tenth floor, and who just had a heart attack …
The dead take our souls
Parapsychologists warn: don't take unnecessary risks by summoning spirits. This is the same "Russian roulette". It can "carry" for quite a long time, but then all the same you will open that only otherworldly door that you can no longer close, and you will be forced to accept all the "evil" from that side, which, at best, will distort your whole future life …

“I had a beloved friend,” she says. - He was fond of seances and once invited me to participate in communicating with spirits. Although I had a poor idea of all this, I nevertheless agreed out of curiosity.
And so we waited until zero hours Moscow time, took candles, a sheet of Whatman paper on which we drew all the letters and 10 numbers, in general, we prepared everything as needed, turned off the light, lit the candles and remained alone in silence. Petya said: "I call the spirit …" - and called the name of his deceased brother.
This he repeated several times. Our fingers lightly touched the inverted saucer, and I could not believe that the saucer would still budge. We sat like that for 3-4 minutes, and I felt a little funny: what are we adults doing!
And then I noticed that the saucer moved slightly. Then it slowly went to the word “Hello.” I could not believe my eyes, because the saucer was moving by itself, without the tension of our fingers, which only slightly touched its edges.
Petya began to talk to the spirit, asking him various questions, and I felt creepy, as the saucer moved faster and faster over the letters, the strength of his movement increased. I also began to read carefully what the spirit says. We asked everything: what awaits us in the future, when we get married, how many children we will have, how many years we will live, how long will other relatives live, whether we will get sick. The saucer moved around the drawing paper, pointed with a drawn arrow to the required letter, we made up words and sentences, and the saucer regularly “answered” all questions.
Then, saying goodbye to one spirit, they called others. Whom did we not call: actors, politicians, and even Wang. Some swore obscenities, especially liked to scold me, called them the last dirty words, but I did not take offense at them and continued to talk culturally. The other spirits did not want to say goodbye to us and leave where they came from, but Petya still managed to send them back.
Of course, we did this for more than one night. I was no longer afraid at all and soon felt that the sessions were necessary for me, it became almost like a drug, I wanted to summon spirits and that's it. And Petya, on the contrary, began to get bored, he said that I would lose what fate had predicted for me.
Once I was at home alone. And I had an idea: shouldn't I try to summon spirits again? After all, it still won't work, I thought, the vibration of the interaction of the fingers will be small for one. But she made up her mind. I called Petya's late brother, Sergei. I had already decided that nothing would work, but suddenly the saucer went off. Sergei's spirit began to talk to me, and then asked: "Did you like me in the photographs?"
I said he was normal. He asked again: would I like to be with him always and make love? I was surprised, but I became curious, and I decided to ask how it is with the spirit to make love? Although I already subconsciously guessed what he would answer, and suddenly I felt scared, terribly scared.

After that, I realized with horror that the dead were gradually taking our souls to themselves. And mine was nearly taken that night. And the next day we had a big fight with Petya, we swore, shouted, and I even hit him!
Later, eyewitnesses of our quarrel told me that I really beat him, like a man, but it seems to me that at that moment I was not me, but someone possessed me, since I practically do not remember anything and do not even believe what I was told.
After that we parted. Petya could not forgive and did not believe that I was possessed then by an evil spirit. Now I'm just sure of this, where would I get so much strength to beat a loved one and say all sorts of nasty things in his face, spitting on the floor with relish.
A streak of failures stretched in my life: illness of relatives, a catastrophic lack of money, pain, fear, loss, I wanted to end myself several times. Only after a long time everything returned to normal."
Summoning the spirit of yourself is cool
The scorching touch of the spirit world shook the life of Olga S., a resident of Ufa, to its foundations. Immediately after one of the night fortune-telling, everything around her was suddenly filled with inexplicable mysticism.
It all started, as always, with a seance. Olga and her friends on Saturday evening decided to try "spinning the saucer." We drew a circle on whatman paper, drew an alphabet, lit a candle.
All of them immediately began to work out. At first they called the spirit of Pushkin, but he was kind of sleepy and answered the questions asked incomprehensibly. Then Vysotsky was summoned. The saucer kept running around the table, but it was a solid mat and similar words.
Then Olga suggested: "What if you summon the spirit of myself?" The girlfriends, without hesitation, agreed, they were curious to evoke the spirit of a living person!
As soon as the girls uttered the phrase of the challenge, Olga felt pain in the solar plexus area, which quickly passed, and then the saucer moved. Olin "spirit" answered questions vaguely, got off with general phrases. Therefore, the friends decided to end the session and went home.
After that it all started. Olga was washing the dishes when she heard light steps behind her. The girl lived alone, she did not have a cat or a dog, so she was very frightened, turned around and in the dark corridor, which could be seen from the kitchen, noticed a human silhouette. Then the bathroom light came on and the sound of pouring water was heard.
Olga quietly crept up to the front door, made sure that it was locked with a lock and chain, and grew bolder. Then she jerked open the bathroom door. Empty, tap closed, but water splashes on the walls of the sink. She looked in the mirror, straightened her hair and … almost fainted from horror.
“It dawned on me,” Olga recalls, “that my reflection is in a dressing gown, and I haven’t changed yet, as I was in a T-shirt with short sleeves, and I have remained” …
The girl thought she was either crazy, or, more likely, she saw in the mirror a spirit that she foolishly called up. She felt creepy. Olya rushed to the kitchen, pressed her back against the closed door, and suddenly felt that the handle was slowly turning by itself!
Here she was completely "sick". She clung to the revolving doorknob with a death grip, trying to hold it. The pressure has eased. And again steps splashed in the corridor.
Remembering that earlier they fought with evil spirits with the help of silver and a cross, Olga found two silver forks in a box and fastened them crosswise with an elastic band from a curler. She went into the room, waving the cross around her. There was no one there, but there was some movement. And at some point, the cross clung to something! But there was emptiness!
And then the girl still lost consciousness, and when she woke up, her whole body ached wildly, and her head was spinning.
