The second attribute is the cauldron. In ancient Greece, the famous sorceress and priestess Hecate was preparing the assassination of the Greek ruler Pelias. To do this, she used a cauldron to make poison, throwing a lizard's eye, a cat's tongue, a chicken's paw and other witchcraft abomination there …
The Druids had a Goddess named Cerridwen who cooked various magical teas in a huge cauldron. The "brew" was boiling for exactly one year, at the end of the term, exactly three drops of Wisdom remained in the magic cauldron.
Thus, the cauldron, like the broom, also became an attribute of witches. Due to the fact that the cauldron converts dissimilar elements into magical potions and poisons, it becomes an important part of rituals. Also, the basic elements - water, fire, earth and air - have always been related to the boiler. It's simple: water was poured into a boiler, fire was used for heating, earth elements were boiled in the water, and steam flew into the air.
The next attribute is a mirror. It could be plain or spherical. It is with the help of mirrors that witches see the past and predict the future. Later, witches began to use crystal and crystal as a mirror. Under no circumstances should the sun's rays fall on the magic mirror. After use, this item was carefully wrapped in a dense black cloth and closed in a box.
