The question of the origin of UFOs worried and worries not only fans of science fiction or young astronomers. Prominent American statesmen, possessing generalized classified information on this issue, have repeatedly expressed their point of view directly and frankly.

Back in 1950, at a press conference in Long Beach, President H. Truman stated that "the homeland of flying saucers is not the United States or another earthly power, they are neither American nor Russian secret weapons and were not created on Earth."

In 1954, also at a press conference, President D. Eisenhower said: "I do not believe that flying saucers come from any single planet, as General Twining recently stated."

President J. Kennedy stated in 1960: "I have come to believe that flying saucers are indeed spaceships that have come from other worlds."

General D. Marshall, the former US Secretary of State, also declared in 1951: "The United States authorities have determined that UFOs are arriving from another planet."

Former Assistant Secretary of the US Air Force, Brian, argued that "UFOs are manned or remotely controlled alien vehicles."

The official conclusions of the alien origin of UFOs were first made by the Americans back in 1948 in a top secret report called "Assessment of the situation." This document was compiled by a group of Air Force personnel involved in UFO research for Project Znak. The report was presented to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General X. Vandenberg, but he, having read it, ordered to destroy it.

And about the top secret document about Operation Majestic-12, drawn up in 1952 by the former CIA Director Admiral R. Hillencotter for President D. Eisenhower, the public learned only in the late 1980s.

This document indicated that the unidentified object that crashed in 1947 north of Roswell was not created by any earthly state, and the dead crew members, although they were humanlike, were not biologically and evolutionarily similar to humans.

By the way, the authenticity of this document of Admiral Hillencotter in 1993 was confirmed in writing by the official American institution responsible for maintaining military secrets - the Defense Investigative Service.

In 1953, in the final report of the G. Robertson Commission, created by the CIA, it was also said that the only explanation for the existence of UFOs could be their extraterrestrial origin. In addition to the CIA's scientific intelligence department, the commission included Air Force generals and four scientists whose professional interests are related to the military industry.

Another top secret document related to Operation Majestic 12 was drawn up in 1954. Its name speaks for itself: “Alien beings and extraterrestrial technologies. Instructions for detection, evacuation, maintenance and storage.

In particular, it was about the fact that it is not yet known for what purpose extraterrestrial flying objects with crews appeared on our planet. However, the technologies possessed by the aliens have gone far ahead in comparison with the modern achievements of our earthly science. Today, a fairly large number of debris and parts of crashed spaceships and the corpses of aliens allow us to draw such conclusions.

In the textbook of the American Air Force Academy, published in 1968, it was also indicated that UFOs are extraterrestrial material objects that have crews or are controlled from a distance (41).

And in 1997, retired Colonel F. Corso, who worked under Eisenhower for four years as an employee of the National Security Council, and in the 1960s - head of the foreign technology section of the military research and development section of the Ministry of Defense, in his famous book The Day After Roswell Wrote that the leadership of the United States never doubted the alien origin of UFOs.

In 1999, a group of prominent scientists at the respected Stanford University also announced that they already have sufficient information about the appearance on Earth of aircraft of alien origin.

Confessions of the extraterrestrial origin of UFOs were also contained in important documents and statements of high-ranking officials of other states.

The former commander of British aviation, Lord Dowding, wrote back in 1957: “I am convinced that UFOs are not created by any earthly nation, but are of alien origin.”

In 1967, a top secret document was sent to the heads of NATO member states, which set out the results of an analysis of UFO activities on Earth, carried out by a group of analysts from the Headquarters of the NATO Commander-in-Chief in Europe.

The document said that extraterrestrial civilizations have always actively explored our planet, including the population of the Earth. This kind of activity is possible only with highly developed technologies that are thousands of years ahead of the Earth's.

In the same year, the chief of staff of the Japanese air defense, General Itsikawa, said that UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin, and, the general specified, large objects serve for interstellar flights, and small ones for reconnaissance flights over our planet.

In 1999, the French National Defense Research Institute, which includes four generals of the ground forces, one admiral, chief commissioner of the national police, former commander of tactical aviation and former director of the national center for space research, presented to President J. Chirac and Prime Minister L. Jospin a detailed report entitled "UFOs and Defense: What We Should Prepare for", which said that the existence of UFOs controlled by intelligent beings has practically been proven today and the hypothesis of the extraterrestrial origin of these objects is the best of scientific hypotheses.

And in 2000, the former chief of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Lord Hill Norton, wrote that he fully shared this opinion of the French Institute.

Even in the Vatican, it turns out, there is a special commission to study contacts with aliens, and in 2000 its member close to the Pope, the famous theologian Corrado Balducci, said that contacts with aliens are quite real.

In our country in 1991, in a report on the secret research project "Thread-3", it was also noted that a considerable number of UFOs were observed, in which, possibly, there were aliens from other planets or from parallel worlds.

The leading Russian ufologist V. Azhazha, who until recently was an opponent of the extraterrestrial origin of UFOs, wrote in 2002 in his book "Under the Cap of a Different Mind" that "the fact of visiting Earth by aliens is the most magnificent idea ever expressed by mankind" and "the establishment of multi-manifestation on Earth and in near-earth space of a mind other than human, manifesting itself in so-called UFOs, proves that humanity is not alone."

Perhaps, the above statements are enough to draw a general conclusion about the alien origin of UFOs. One has only to clarify some of the terms of ufology.

Metal objects of the correct geometric shape with portholes, domes, retractable supports, objects from which strange members of their crews emerge, landed or hovered at low altitude, apparently, should now be called not UFOs, but extraterrestrial ships, or alien ships.

And the term "UFO" is used only in relation to objects, the origin of which, due to the great distance or for other reasons, is unknown.
