Since the existence of human civilization, the caring enlightened mind of man has been trying to understand: why is there so much evil and suffering on Earth? Where is divine justice? Why do even the clergy and religions, which are called to kindle love and understanding in their hearts, feel hatred for other religions, organize bloody campaigns in the name of faith?
Creative people have always felt the imperfection of our world especially strongly. Thus, Stendhal exclaimed in a moment of despair: "The only excuse for God is that he does not exist."
The ancient Roman philosopher Seneca, reflecting on human behavior, remarked: “Guilt should not fall in our century. And our ancestors complained, and we complain, and our descendants will complain that morals are corrupted, that evil reigns, that people are becoming worse and more lawless."
The English writer Richard Aldington spoke even more sharply to Homo sapiens: “The desire for absolute justice for all people is a very noble dream, but it is only a dream. Bad clay won't make a good pot, and that's the same with human society - well, can such bad animals like humans create an ideal society?"
Our contemporaries did not stand aside either. “I don't like men, I don't like women, I don't like people. This planet I would put zero. The planet Earth received such an assessment from the director and film actress Renata Litvinova.
Once, Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky dreamed that in the future peace would reign on Earth, an ideal society would be established, and man himself would turn into a perfect being, a "radiant man." Alas, many years have passed since then, and there are no fewer wars and monstrous crimes on the planet, and man is far from perfect.
Perhaps someday we are really waiting for a transition to a new round of evolution, but this will happen in a completely different way, as we can imagine.

Prison planet
As if remembering something important and eternal, the human soul asks itself: who am I? Where from? What is the meaning of my stay on Earth? Where will I go after death?
These questions are not at all random, given that one of the versions of the origin of our planet boils down to the fact that the Earth is a place where human souls go through the stage of re-education, comprehension, and adjustment. This is the place where we all serve our sentences. A place called the prison planet. And therefore, initially counting on the happiness deserved by the very fact of birth and a perfect order of the world order is a hopeless occupation, since living on this planet does not set such a goal.
Is our real homeland elsewhere?
Everyone's goal is only personal - to deal with oneself, remember their divine origin, develop the bright sides of the soul and return … to their homeland.
In the Book of Genesis there is an indication that once we lived in another divine place and our souls were not enclosed in bodily shells: "And the Lord God sent him (Adam) out of the Garden of Eden …"; "And the Lord God made for Adam and his wife coats of skins, and clothed them"; "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread, until you return to the ground from which you were taken."
Wheel of endless rebirth
If we turn to Buddhism, we can find a definition that a person's life is a chain of continuous suffering. To live - in the understanding of Buddhists, means to suffer. Perhaps that is why, when a child is born, he cries, as if the soul realizes that it has been born again in the material world, on planet Earth. After some time, the child's memory is blocked, and he forgets who he is and where he lived before birth. Buddhists believe that a person does not die forever and after some time our souls are born in a new body, experience suffering, then die and are reborn.
If a person leads a righteous life, he thereby improves his karma and gets rid of suffering in the future. If a person commits bad deeds, then in the next lives he condemns himself to even greater suffering. The basis of Buddhism is that a person is able to break the wheel of eternal rebirth and receive spiritual liberation by reaching nirvana.
The spiritual Jewish leader of the 17th century, Isaiah Horowitz, in his work “Two Tablets of the Covenant” wrote: “Now, when man is imperfect and the world has not yet reached the perfection envisaged in its creation, it is necessary to understand that if a person is corrected and attains perfection, then“clothes leather "which are now dark and impenetrable, will again become light, and even brighter than the one that was before the Fall."
Up the evolutionary ladder
To return to the "Garden of Eden", a person will have to climb the same stairs from which he was once thrown down.
With the help of experience, trial and error, with sweat and blood comprehending the path of inner perfection, a person climbs up the evolutionary ladder, returning to the Creator. At each step, you have to work hard, working out a personal lesson. Each new transition upward must be earned - you can either get stuck on some step or collapse downward. There is only one way: to rise from coarse, low matters to the highest, Divine ones. When this happens, the human soul will complete its earthly incarnations and move into a qualitatively new form of being.
One might assume that if everything is really so, then there is nothing easier than to interrupt your imprisonment and voluntarily leave this place. But such an action as escape will only aggravate our fate and prolong our stay on this planet. No wonder suicide is considered a great sin in all religions. The program of spiritual development together with the Divine law enables a person to understand why he is here, to carry out an internal reorientation and correctly fulfill his lesson.
But there is still a category of those souls who could free themselves and leave this place, but they remain here for the sake of loved ones and loved ones, in order to support them and go through the hardships of earthly life together. Such people included teachers of mankind, sages and saints.
Way home
The more difficult a person endures the aggression and imperfection of this world, the more he feels pain and suffering at the sight of hungry children, homeless animals, the brighter his soul becomes and the closer his way home.
Our soul yearns, looking at the distant stars of the endless sky, it remembers its extraterrestrial origin.
Someday we will return to the place where harmony and joy reign, where we once came from, where a real mission awaits us and where our existence will be filled with love and high meaning. Where a person will change so much that he will become, as the great Tsiolkovsky assumed, "an unprecedentedly intelligent … radiant creature who will live happily and forever."
