In mid-November, The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) launched an investigation into the discovery of an unidentified flying object (UFO) moving close to scheduled aircraft off the southwest coast of Ireland.
This is an incident that occurred on November 9, 2018. At about 6:47 a.m. that early morning, the pilot of British Airways Flight Speedbird94 from Montreal, Canada to London contacted Shannon Air Traffic Control (Shannon ATC). This was to clarify whether any military exercises were being conducted in the airspace where the Boeing 787 was at that moment.
It seems that Shannon ATC did not have this information, so they asked other pilots in the area to see if they could see objects and in which direction they were moving.
Another pilot responded and said that he saw one object, and its speed was high, about twice the speed of sound (Mach 2).
In a subsequent statement, the agency referred to reports from pilots of a number of aircraft on November 9 (Friday), as reported to the IAA. The comment for this event says the following:

Later, one of the eyewitnesses published a video that was allegedly filmed in that area, but the date is November 10-11. The shooting was carried out from the territory of a private courtyard and an unidentified flying object was captured on it, as well as an aircraft flying nearby. It is important to note that the video is clearly not a Boeing 787 scheduled plane, but an older, still propeller-driven model.
It is possible that this video confirms that the incident with the UFO flight did not end on November 9, and objects cruised over the territory in the following days. But information about this has already been investigated in a "confidential" manner.
