The world around us keeps many secrets. And one of the most mysterious mysteries is the existence of unidentified flying objects. That is why the publication of hypotheses and guesses about the origin of UFOs is always of great interest.
There are over a hundred hypotheses in the world about the origin and essence of unidentified flying objects. Their range is wide: from technogenic versions about alien intervention to versions related to the human psyche. In general, these are numerous attempts to explain the inexplicable.
We conventionally divide hypotheses into groups. Most often, according to a number of scientists, the observed phenomena are the result of reasonable technical human activity or the manifestation of natural processes. The reasons are quite natural and mundane.
In other words, misinterpretation of natural factors or the so-called atmospheric optics effects due to technical experiments in the atmosphere. UFOs, for example, are mistaken for intrusion of cosmic rays through ozone holes after rockets are launched.
The hypothesis of UFOs as representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization or messengers of the future unites another group of scientists. At the same time, one involuntarily recalls the fantastic novel by H. Wells "The Time Machine" about time travelers.
The version about space aliens has already a very long history. It began in 1930, when K. E. Tsiolkovsky and N. A. Rynin expressed the idea of a possible visit to planet Earth in prehistoric times by messengers from other worlds. This hypothesis is confirmed by the find of the Crimean archaeologists - the ancient drawing of the "cosmonaut".
In the Bakhchisarai region, near the village of Kuibyshev, an artist from the Stone Age carved the outlines of a creature in a spacesuit on a rock, and like two drops of water similar to another rock painting in the Sahara Desert, on the Tassi plateau, found by the French explorer Henri Lot. The African drawing is about seven thousand years old, and the Crimean one is three times younger. Siegel at the end of his life began to consider such a large number of UFO visits across interstellar distances unlikely. The scientist's sympathies began to lean in favor of the hypothesis that UFOs are "guests from combined spaces", spaces of other dimensions.
In other words, the conspiratorial earthly civilizations possessing an unknown form of energy in the so-called fourth dimension - plasma - are located: in the upper layers of the atmosphere, in its depths, in inaccessible mountainous places, under the World Ocean. Perhaps they are the descendants of ancient earthly civilizations, for example, the legendary Atlantis. The Soviet ufologist F. Yu. Siegel made a statement about the possibility of the existence of parallel worlds on Earth in an unpublished article "Some problems of modern ufology".
In the book "Mysteries of Ancient History" researcher A. Gorbovsky gives an example of observations of our distant ancestors in the hydrosphere of the Mediterranean Sea behind a super-speed boat. A similar case in the Indian Ocean was reported by The Week in 1977 in No. 18.

The fifth group of hypotheses explains the UFO phenomenon as an invention, a hallucination of people, i.e. UFOs are a phenomenon of hallucinations. Having the facts of observations of the AI, let's say that humanity has not been able to hallucinate for centuries, which means that we are not on our way with a psychoid hypothesis. The human psyche is not to blame for the existence of the UFO phenomenon.
Many of the remaining no less interesting hypotheses explain the UFO phenomenon as a deliberate deception of humanity using holography by creating planetary ghosts or the activities of earthly alchemists - members of secret societies, as well as the military secrets of earthlings who are testing new technology, etc.
Some ufologists consider UFOs to be one of the forms of field life in our earthly atmosphere. For example, G. Polkovsky, a geological engineer from Pyatigorsk, has a series of photographs in which, when photographing a clear night sky, certain structures in the atmosphere that are not visible with the naked eye, resembling UFOs, are found. It should be recognized that one of the most acceptable hypotheses about UFOs is that this is a manifestation of a different, not biological form of life, but information-energetic, but near-earth life. They can manifest themselves in the subtle, or, as they say now, the astral world. This is the opinion of V. G. Azhazha, a leading specialist in ufology of Russia. There are also exotic versions of UFOs.
Thus, the hypotheses correspond to two directions, one of them is scientific, explaining the UFO phenomenon as a natural phenomenon of nature or the result of human technical activity.
The popular science journal "Science and Life" in cooperation with the laboratory for the study of paranormal phenomena announced a competition for the best theory that would explain the UFO phenomenon. "If someone answered what a UFO is," says a prominent specialist in the field of ufology V. G. Azhazha, "he would receive the Nobel Prize."
Tempting, right? Put forward, dear readers, your hypotheses. Often extravagant hypotheses have received brilliant confirmation in the world practice of mankind. "The most incredible," asserted the German writer E. M. Remark, "are the most logical."
UFOs are like magic ships that take our dream away to unknown distances, to where, probably, there are other intelligent beings. After all, it is so lonely for humanity in the Universe without brothers in Reason. An interesting fact is that during the existence of civilization on Earth, no nation has been able to prove that UFOs are the work of human hands.
