Many people today believe that vampires are supernatural beings or do not exist at all. However, the data that has appeared in recent years allows us to look at the problem of the origin of vampires from a new and very unexpected point of view.

Over time, the vampires reached the mouth of the Nile and there they organized a secret society, which went down in history as the Nine Invisibles.

There are many rumors about secret vampire societies. Some argue that they exist in our time, others say that their time is long gone.

Most often, there are references to two secret vampire societies that existed in antiquity and, possibly, continue their activities to this day. In the Roman Empire, each vampire clan had its own squad of punishers who carried out special assignments related to tacit violation of the laws of the vampire Code.

Most likely, the first version of the Vampire Code was written in Ancient Egypt and consisted of several gold plates with hieroglyphs carved on them.

The Vampire Code was created to solve several problems at once:

  1. Stop all-out war between vampires and make their relationship more civilized.
  2. Lay the foundations for covert collaboration with people based on acceptable concessions from each side.
  3. Create a powerful vampire organization to protect yourself in the event that people want to exterminate all vampires without exception.

In addition to the clans in Egypt, the mysterious society of the Nine Invisibles, consisting of vampire magicians, operated for a long time. They were mainly engaged in research in the field of occult sciences and did not interfere in the affairs of their fellows. Vampire magicians were not afraid of sunlight and possessed technologies incredible for their time.

The decline of the ancient Egyptian state led to the fact that in the 4th century BC. e. vampires began to take an interest in other countries, mainly Greece and Rome.

When the Roman Empire invaded Egypt in 30 BC, the vampire patriarchs transported the Codex to Rome, a place of pilgrimage for young vampires. By the beginning of the new era, all the vampire clans moved to the Roman Empire, where they quietly existed until the division of the empire into Eastern and Western. The invasions of the barbarians and the spread of Christianity led to the fact that many vampire clans disintegrated or were destroyed.

There is a curious theory according to which the Codex had only one vampire Guardian, who did not change during all this time, and the Vatican had to step over his corpse to get the Codex.

According to legend, the vampire Codex consisted of three parts. In the first part, the behavior of the vampire was regulated: it listed the basic rights and obligations, and also contained the text of the oath that the vampire had to pronounce, putting his hand on the Code. The second part contained the laws that establish relations between vampires: lists of permissible and unacceptable acts in relation to another vampire and a list of sanctions due for violation of these rules. The third part described the relationship between vampires and humans: it listed signs of legal and illegal vampire prey, some general advice and, possibly, a ban on the murder of the highest leaders of human states.

Violation of the laws listed in the Code was punishable by death.

According to another version, vampires appeared in India on the territory of the Harappan civilization, which existed in 3-2 millennia BC. e. in the valley of the Indus river. Sources very poorly describe their activities throughout this time. It is possible that there were actually no vampires in India, and the legends about their existence appeared after the campaign of Alexander the Great in 329 BC. e., together with which the members of the society of the Nine Invisibles came to India in search of new knowledge.

There is no information that they met resistance from local vampires. However, this does not mean that they did not exist before, and some researchers believe that the vampires living in that region simply exterminated each other in the Bronze Age.

It is known that at least one representative of the Nine Invisibles permanently resided in Delphi: either he was dictating the "correct" prophecies to the Oracle, or he was waiting for messengers from the north. After in 329 BC. e. The Nine Invisibles left Greece along with Alexander the Great, the vampire clans returned to Hellas and began to use it as a source of food. Ancient Athens became for the ghouls something of a tourist center, where you can come and rest for a while, but they still preferred to live in their native Egypt. The Greeks turned into vampires tried to organize their own clan, but it was more of a hobby club than a powerful secret organization. After Greece submitted to Rome in 27 BC. e., many of them followed the example of their Egyptian counterparts and migrated to the Roman Empire.
