Apalala
Apalala is the great water dragon, the divine naga serpent from Hindu mythology. Rivers and rains obey him. Apalala makes sure other dragons do not wreak havoc with floods and downpours. It is believed that Apalala lives in the Swat River, which is now in Pakistan. The locals revere the great dragon and thank him by bringing him grain. Somehow, there were no floods for several years, and people decided that there was nothing more to fear. They stopped bringing grain, and the very next year Apalala showed his might by sending floods and devastating rains.
Wyvern
This dragon lived in Europe and was a bloodthirsty evil creature, blazing with fire and tearing people apart with monstrous fangs. With one blow of his tail, he could destroy a village. At the same time, he flew excellently, and the size of his wings was compared to a ship's sail. It was believed that the Wyvern has two vulnerable spots - near the base of the tail and the mouth. It was claimed that the Wyvern guards the untold treasures that it has collected over the years.

Zmey Gorynych
Serpent Gorynych differs from many of his colleagues in that he has three heads and seven tails. In most descriptions, he has only two legs on which he walks. Sometimes, however, two more tiny front legs are added to it. With its claws, it easily penetrates armor. His breath is offensive and smells of sulfur. Only the most powerful heroes can defeat a malicious snake, and even those require magic devices. So, Dobrynya Nikitich was able to defeat the Serpent Gorynych only with the help of a magic whip, which his mother gave the hero. The bogatyr's reward was the appreciation of the beautiful Zabava Putyatishna.
Nidhogg
This fierce dragon lives in the dark kingdom of Niflheim, destined for sinners and villains. The name of the dragon translates as “ripping up corpses”. Nidhogg devours those who find themselves in the underworld, drinks the blood of murderers, liars and oath-breakers. Niflheim is located below the rest of the world of the dead, a cold and dark place. Nidhogg lives in a pit full of poisonous snakes near Hvergelmir, which is the beginning of all rivers. It was Nidhogg who gnawed at the root of the Yggdrasil World Tree, leading to Ragnarok, the great battle between gods and monsters. Nidhogg was able to escape from the battlefield and feed on the dead bodies from the battlefield in his lair.
Ryujin
The Japanese dragon Ryujin, as you might expect, lives in the sea. His home on the ocean floor is a coral palace with precious stones in the walls. This palace contains the halls of all four seasons and the magic pearl through which the dragon commands the tides. A person cannot see Ryūjin's body and remain alive. A storm in the ocean is believed to start when this dragon's mood gets bad.
