Recently, archaeologists have discovered in the famous Egyptian Saqqara the tombs of a high-ranking official and wife of Pharaoh Jedkar. Unfortunately, the tombs were almost completely looted, even the sarcophagi in which the mummies were kept were destroyed. The age of these tombs is more than 4 thousand years.

However, ancient frescoes are well preserved on the walls.

It is curious that the tombs are rather primitive, but at the base of the tombs we see several carefully worked blocks (see photo below). Moreover, according to scientists, such blocks were "reused in the construction of other buildings in ancient times."
