Since last week, sensational news about a mummy with the face of a humanoid found in Egypt began to spread on various sites. At first, it appeared on English-language resources, and then passed to Russian ones, including Rambler News.
There is neither the name of the region where the mummy was found, nor at least any name of the archaeologist in the articles, but there is already an exact dating, these mummies are supposedly more than 2300 years old.
On every site with such news, there is only one photo of this mummy with the face of an alien. And the first search in Google for this photo gives a real result.
In fact, in 2018 in Dahshur, in the vicinity of Cairo, archaeologists discovered eight unique mummies. The mummies were inside brightly decorated papier-mâché sarcophagi, on top of which were limestone sarcophagi, and proved to be very valuable to science due to the fact that the robbers did not touch them. One of these mummies was photographed into a "mummy with an alien face." Moreover, the fake is very rude.
