Residents of Britain will soon be able to purchase a completely unique vegetable. The hybrid of potatoes and tomatoes has passed the latest tests of the food control organization and is ready to hit the shelves.
This unusual plant was named TomTato - from the English words denoting the most beloved vegetables in Russia. Very soon, its fruits will be on sale, but for now the British company "Thomson and Morgan" is preparing to send this product to mass production.
The process of growing this wonderful vegetable is not that easy. Despite the fact that the fantastic plant is considered the result of genetic engineering, each bush requires individual care. In addition, even the creators themselves cannot yet determine which of the insect pests for the tomato is the most dangerous - the Colorado potato beetle or aphid.
- The fruits of this plant are absolutely natural and safe. This is not a trick at all.
